Queen Boudicca of the Iceni, Joan of Arc, the 600 women who served in the American Civil War disguised as men, and my personal favourite, the women's army of the Fon of Dahomey.
Need I go on?
No you have no need to quote wiki further, I knew that long before. Joan of Arc being the most famous I agree, but she was a priestess, maybe lead some battles, but she was hardly a resilient warrior. And all her feats were obviously and exaggeration since she is a saint.
You think I was quoting Wikipedia? HAHAHAHAHAHAAHHA! Oh, you amuse me.
Also, check your facts. Joan was a frontline commander, in the days when your ability to command was directly tied to ability to butcher others on the battlefield.
And you ignore Boudicca, who personally slaughtered Roman legionnairres, the women who served in the American Civil War, and the full, serving army of women of the Fon of Dahomey.
Bottom line: Women are more than capable of serving as warriors. Anyone who thinks differently, is in for a very rude surprise.
agreed. Women can be amazing warriors and soldiers, but in my honest opinion shouldn't. Not because I'm sexist, I'm not. It's just, should the women get captured, they'll most likely be raped by the enemies. Not always, but most likely. However, this hasn't stopped women from fighting throughout history and proving they can kick ass, despite having a body structure not as adept at handling combat situations as a man, what with the greater risk of their bones breaking. Even now, women are fighting over in the Middle East.
All in all, I feel a woman shouldn't have to fight because I wouldn't want to compromise her safety, but if she can kick ass then she can kick ass. The Amazons being a great example of women fighters.
edit: oops just saw the dev comment. *dropping topic*
