Sorry was acting all Donnic to my Aveline, so sorry for the late reply. ON Avelinets day we celebrate, yes, by punching out Darkspawn, slatterns, using noisey drwaves as shields, while riding a mabari to train recruits. Or you could try wooing someone talking about swords being used for everything. Even cutting chicken.

Seeing Aveline's idea of wooing makes me wonder exactly how young she was when she married what's his name the dead guy. S'pose he dipped her braids in the inkwells at school, she beat him up, and it was love at first sight?

You mean Ser Westley her first husband?  Could be, or considering that they were both about to face a darkspawn horde they could have met, hit it off and decided not to wait until after the battle to get married because...well...there might not be an after.
