Nope, it's still there. You can see it around 0:44-0:47 mark, on both male and female templar.crimzontearz wrote...

Now, what Aveline is is handsome. She is definitely that. She looks good because she looks tough and powerful, not because she looks ornamental (which she most certainly does not).
True that.

I would think being called handsome while being a woman would be a little, uh, insulting?
It would depend on the woman. Just like there are men who'd freak out about being called beautiful while others would like the compliment.

It implies strong but well balanced proprtional features. 'Handsome' can be beautiful, just not soft or barbie-ish.

I approve of the build on random female. She looks very normal. I hope that we have this kind of different body types for our PCs.tmp7704 wrote...
For comparison there's picture of Isabela and some random female NPCB3taMaxxx wrote...
Do any of the other female NPC's look different? I'm failing to see the connection/difference.
similar pose for Aveline:

yes but you are trying to create a disctinction that in our mind does not exist...or that, better yet, is irrelevant as beautiful -for us- is beautiful regardless of the fact that it is meant in a classical sense or in a more personal fashion

Whose mind? The distinction may not exist in one's mind, but it exists in the english language. What you're saying isn't wrong and is an admirable point of view, but that doesn't mean that the two words are identical. Not in english. Edit: oh wait, you mean in the mind of people who speak your language.crimzontearz wrote...

And yes the best way to describe her looks is definetly as a "handsome" woman and I'm okay with that.
