I don't think that BioWare is aiming to make Aveline the prettiest girl around, and there's nothing wrong with that. I just think that if they made her jaw/chin a little smaller and less pronounced, half the accusations that she's the ugliest character around would disappear. In my humble (or not-so-humble, not quite sure which) opinion, strong jaws look good on men, not women.

Don't be absurd. This is the internet. Morrigan's jawline in both the Sacred Ashes trailer and the game were quite feminine, and people couldn't shut the hell up about how ugly they thought she was.

Yeah, but the fact that they only mentioned "virginal girl next door" Merrill and "crazy up against the wall let's have it on right here" Isabela makes me concerned.

I swear, if jailbait Merrill ends up taking mighty Aveline's rightful place I will be quite peeved. Quite peeved indeed.

They have their reasons for the choices they make when it comes to game design. We'll see
Although showing Aveline and Hawke while talking about relationships and how they develop over time is quite a tease.

BTW...

Why's the 5 month old Aveline thread so small? The 11 hour old Merril thread's almost the same size.

When off duty. While in duty (or in combat), it keeps the hair off the eyes, so it stays.
She's a practical woman.

Armor detail indicates rank in Kirkwall military, perhaps? Or maybe she traverses through different regiments?
