I belive that this post confirms that either Merril or Aveline are romanceable, probably Merril. Oh joy :3

Aye, it was mentioned some pages back. Perhaps Hawke isn't the only one who rises to power, and Aveline becomes a high ranking Grey Warden?
It could be that she joined them for revenge of the death of her husband!

I hope to see less from the vampire do-gooders... er, I mean Grey Wardens... in DA2
If given the choice, I wouldn't let anyone drink anymore blood in this game. Besides, looking at Hawke, blood has become more about fashion that soft drinks
In all seriousness, I hope this won't be the case. Maybe coincidence, who knows.

Erm... would't the symbol of Kirkwall's army look stylistically closer to the symbol of Kirkwall itself? Those sort of knots and stuff?Atakuma wrote...
It is most likely the symbol of Kirkwall's army.
Anyway, I remember there was a Grey Warden's symbol on the official site (though it looks like it isn't there anymore). Orrrrr...it's really something different. But why so similar?

It's not entirely viscounts - it's Kirkwall's, it's rebel-slaves even... anyway, it has only one head.ThunderfoxF wrote...
Well the viscounts symbol is a Falcon. So that's probably what it is IMO
Though, surely, you could be right

I think this could possibly confirm all three as romanceable since the original quoter DOES have an idea of what kind of carfighting would ensue between Merril and Isabella, but the writer of Aveline said you have NO idea, i take this to mean since the original poster also has Aveline in the party that they have NO idea since Aveline is also romanceable so having all three in the party would be a monsterous Catfight ending in Aveline puting both others to shame
Think about it sure Dragon age O only had two female Li's but look at Mass Effect 2, there are 3, 4 if you include the Red head, and Dragon Age 2 does seem to be following in Mass Effects foot steps(which is a good thing as far as i am conserned) so i still hold up hope we will see all three as Li's which would simply be amazing because they all seem like totally differant but all vey beautiful and awesome in there own rights(Aveline being the best of course)

I hear what your saying (well... read, whatever). But the thing that stands out is the fact that I recall the other devs telling us not to get our hopes up about everyone beeing romanceable. Now, I know that not every companion has been revealed, but as more come up, most of them seem and/or people think they are also romanceable. In Mass Effect 2 we had a dirty dozen, and from such a number, there was a great abundance of LIs, but in DA2 I believe we will have far less. Especially after seeing their pictures in Varric's story book.
I still have hopes for Aveline though... Time will tell.

Indeed...I suspect it will be hard for Bioware to create a character I will like more then Aveline...she is all of my fetish's about females made real...so to speak...well, cept one fetish I tell no about cept those I consider trustworthy.
Redhead? CHECK!
Freckles? CHECK!
Bulging muscles? CHECK!
Female warrior? CHECK!
A hard ass with a soft side? HOPEFULY CHECK!
-wipes hands togeather- Indeed Bioware...if she turns out to be a LI you shall have a hard time topping yourself in my book. As the man in Taken says to Liam Neeson "Good Luck...." -crushs the phone-

And I only honeslty can't think of anything more douchey than stringing along the virgin elf and the grieving widow.
