Ehhhh, I'm completely against female companions fighting over the PC.
And I only honeslty can't think of anything more douchey than stringing along the virgin elf and the grieving widow.

"stringing along" is making it sound more ugly then I'm sure it is. Besides ten years is abit much for a widow to grieve. I feel Hawke will help her get past her grief, and they grow close my the process.

Wow destroyed my soul slowly over the course of years. But every Holloween I would get sooo excited because I got to hear that laugh every 5 minutes for like 2 weeks. My most favorite evil laugh in the world. I would crank every volume possible up to maximum when I knew the laugh was comeing.

When I say stringing along I mean, simultaneously romancing the two.

Oh...my deepist apologies ser...oh I agree...I don't do things like that, while the dialogue between them might be good I can never bring myself to do those types of things. I always Youtube those conversations lol.

My thoughts on Aveline are as follows: as far as my favorite female in DA2 (besides femHawke) is definitely Aveline. I love the idea of a female human warrior. Shes not really pretty by normal standards but she has so much character to her. I can't wait to see more about her and she makes DA2 even more of a must play game to me.

I wonder guys if Aveline is an LI how will she feel about Mage Hawke since in the beginning of the game it is said that she has a problem with Bethany being a Mage

Crossing fingers for getting to romance Aveline on the rivalry path as a well-meaning but morally flexible femHawke mage. (And then again on the friendship path as a sweetheart femHawke rogue.)

Bonus points if at any time she glowers at me and tells me she puts up with my crap because she loves me, not because she likes me.

I like Jealousy, to a point. it is a very natural human reaction and it only underlines someone's attachment to their loved ones (unless of course it becomes obsessive). Still.....I agree on the sexiness

Same. I still think that genuine affection over jealousy make for a more emotional story. But I am incredibly curious as to how BioWare has handled this.

Hello there, this is my first time posting in the Aveline forum.  I have to say, I never was quite a big fan of Aveline, but after the latest developer video, I've grown to really appreciate her character.  She's independent, fierce and strong.  Well, now you guys have +1 fan of Aveline.  I promise that she will be the LI of my first Garret Hawke (but as I always play as my own sex first, it'll be my second playthrough).

I've liked the idea of Aveline from the first time I saw her. Female warrior that is built. The dev diary certainly helped with my appreciation of her even more.

I really think that she will be.  After I saw the video, I thought her LI status was greatly alluded to, after she said, "I've been keeping an eye on you." to MHawke.  Lol, very interesting dialogue.  Positive thinking! <3
