Those screenshots are pretty ugly, I'm guessing those are from the console version because we've seen much better looking ones before. Oh and Aveline is badass I wonder if she has an orlesian accent.

I´m starting to wonder if the DA2 art team has something against armor. Isabelle, the charging qunari in war paint, and now Aveline. A leather apron for close combat?

It looks like a Shale sorta companion, but with magic? Either way, looks awesome.

Edit: It could be a new enemy, but I'm betting on a companion as DA2 is keeping the 4-person parties. Seems too.. awesome to be a regular enemy?
