My Renegon Shepard destroyed Keiji's Graybox so that she won't feel the pain as much (I hope...)

So I'll probably get my Hawke to kill Wesley...

I think my mental image of her is a bit tougher than hers. If she decides that she'll be the one to kill her husband, she's not going to blame a stranger for not stopping her.

The thing is, this is early on the game. I don't know Aveline well enough to make a decision so important.



Still, if you choose "it's up to you" and she says that Hawke have to do it... well, I think she would feel bad the same way, because she's "forcing" Hawke to do it for her. I don't see a outcome that let Aveline be happy.

I don't know, Wesley is still Aveline's husband and I think they love each other. When my mother died, every member of the family was searching someone to blame. I wouldn't be surprised if Aveline exploded and blamed Hawke, even if she comes back to her senses after saying what she wants to say.

I could see that at one point. Her blaming Hawke for not being quick enough to rescue him, all the while tears pouring down her cheeks...

She strikes me as having a lot of discipline and self control, but how much can a person really hold such feelings in?

But Wesley already had the Taint within him when they ran into Hawke. I don't see how she could blame him, should she even try, and I honestly don't believe she would. She comes off as a lot stronger than that. It was consequence and no one's fault but the darkspawn. I think she'd see that.

My Hawke is probably going to do it, just so that Aveline won't have to. I get the sense, though, that this might have repercussions later. Such as not being able to romance her.

I don't think it has anything to do with knowing a person. No one should have to kill someone they love.

I don't think BioWare would actually completely cut off the romance just because of your decision at the beginning of the game regarding euthanizing Wesley, but I certainly wouldn't be surprised if it affects the course of the romance in some meaningful way.

My Hawke would probably say that it's up to her. It's a terrible decision to make someone make, but at the same time, if anyone has a right to make it, it's Wesley or Aveline.
