Ok, let's move on with another random topic of discussion    (about Aveline ofc)

My question:  What do you guys think is happening here?   



My guess would be that it may possibly be that tension before the coming storm (qunari invasion) and they are discussing either the defense of the city, to stay and fight or flee, etc.

But what's weird is that this scene is shown while Mr. Gaider is talking about romance.
Maybe jealousy?

It's probably coincidental that Gaider was talking about romances at the time. For my money, I'll bet it is half-way through the game getting into the real meat of the plot. As too what they are discussing. *shrugs*

Indeed just because they show a clip while they talk it don't really mean it relates to it. However I couldn't possibly begin to guess what might be happening in this moment. Perhaps it si indeed battle plans. Fenris is probably saying "this is madness we should run away, screw these people what have they ever done for us?" With Aveline retorting with her bad ass warrior spirit. "We defend these people because it is the right thing to do, Hawke and everyone else is willing to protect what matters to them. That is all I need to know because without that you have nothing and deserve nothing." (see what I did there? lol)

Indeed...anyone who steals Aveline will suffer an unfortanet "accident".

Well in retrospect, it would make for a nice subplot (storywise).  A great deal of rivalry situations that I've seen in movies stem from competition over a maiden's hand.

But in Aveline's case, she would probably use that hand to punch both Fenris and Hawke in the face if they started fighting over her.
Now that would be priceless...
