Wow =) I missed this. You guys seems to have a nice tread going here. Great! After hearing Aveline speak in the latest vid I saw I must say that she has a lovely lovely voice =) . If she turns out to be a LI for the guys I just have to play one M!Hawke just to get to know her better.

Naww   =)    I wouldn't say that. I don't think that she's ignored. Besides, a big bunch of pages isn't everything. I'm quite attached to Carver and that thread was pretty silly for some time   =)      lots of pages does not always equal love for a character. Besides, I think that Aveline is a person that sort of grows on you. That you by and by find yourself caring for her more and more

That's precisely what I was imagining. I'm assuming she had good taste, so it'll probably be pretty poignant. That's a nice hook right there--instead of having it be some perfect dead abstract concept, you see the person she loved, and form a small but important bond with him. Thus, should she mention him, you actually give a crap because you watched the life flow out of his eyes and shared his final moment with him (potentially.)

I wonder what tensions that will cause. I do definitely see her wanting to do it herself, but then again, she does ask, so...

Right. She might feel that way, but she's able to understand that Wesley's death is because of the darkspawn. I don't see her as the type to blame others for her misfortune. In fact, she's more likely to blame herself for things that she really can't control.

"Not for you maybe, but even a passionate woman needs a spark" Hawke muttered.

"Why you bloody bounder".

A quick scuffle of steel, a wet thump and Hawke was lowering Wesley to the ground before striding over to take Aveline in his arms and offer comfort.

Nobody heard the templars last words, "get your hand off her arse you evil bastard".

The topic mentioned above is one of the only things that worries me about having Aveline as an LI.

In my opinion, if they start the romance too early, as parodied above Hawke comes off as an uncaring jerk. From what we see in the Making Of video, Aveline is a romance that occurs later on in-game.

Aveline sort of reminds me of Zoe from Firefly. She's got her no-nonsense soldier side, but I'm willing to bet that somewhere, deep down inside she's got quite a sense of humor.

I've not watched Firefly (I know, I know) but I'm also expecting Aveline has quite a dry sense of humour. Also I imagine her as the sort of person who will get all of the silly jokes but won't laugh because of her no-nonsense attitude.
