"DG: Last year I was asking everybody while I was interviewing them what their favorite side quest is. What is your favorite side-quest in Dragon Age II that you can you speak of? Last year, most people’s was the side-quest with Morrigan and her mother.
ML: I would say that it’s a later quest involving Aveline, and I honestly really don’t want to spoil it. There is a quest that’s tied to Aveline’s personal life that is absolutely fantastic, but unfortunately I really shouldn’t tell you about it. It’s just awesome."
What could it involve, I wonder...

Weird feeling protective over a game character who needs no more protection than her own strong right arm, probably because everybody's so mean to her.
If Aveline's manlike then i'm a bloody neanderthal, and the vet said i'm not so there.

Do you have a problem with Carth, sir? Or maybe it's because Aveline is kissing a inferior elf?
RACIST.

Weird feeling protective? That's how I felt the first time I played the Suicide Mission in ME2. I kept saying to myself, if I screw up, these characters here will die
It is very interesting how people can become attached to fictional characters, and quite enjoyable sometimes. Gives a different flavour to the game

Not to play favorites, but this made me think of Aveline through the filter of Hark, a vagrant. Which is high praise, as far as I'm concerned.spacebunny wrote...

As it should be, though in my defense I was taking some suggestions from speactators at the time
There is a normal one of Aveline I've done, but I can't show the completed piece until February beckons, so an in-progress shot will have to do:

That's got to be the best quote I've ever read. And it fits Aveline
I'll PM Kritanakom later to put it on the first page. After the man finishes his exams ofc

Thanks for the link, I would not have seen it without it posted here, I bet. No matter how busy RL gets I head into this thread to make sure I am current on Aveline.
Some great art too! I used to draw, I wish I had the patience to sit down and do it these days.
It really sounds like they tried to make the world and the cast of characters more interactive and engaging. That is the part I am really eager to see. I love writing and I love games, so when there is a game that does both fairly seamlessly, I am a happy girl. *fingers crossed*
