Sir...this thread is for the hopeless romantic fools who find Aveline the Paragon of beauty...I would go Vincent Van Go on her if need be...that is...chop off parts of my body and present them as gifts.
I have that impression... I'm just speaking of from a different perspective... one that would look at her from the teammate perspective per say...as opposed to the out n out LI or die part. That's where my reasoning for my above post comes from.
Isn't there some sorta fansite to write about DA 2 fanfictions... I believe some of the others have links in their sigs that lead to these sites though they seems to hang in other threads mostly...

But seriously...On Topic...-ajusts himself in his fluffy leather chair- Do you think if you side with the Mages Aveline will pull a Wyne at the Urn of Sacred Ashes? If so...sorry Mages...your **** outta luck with me.
Mages: "We deserve to be free! The Champion is on our side!"
Templar: "I don't think so. His woman is on our side."

Indeed...most use FanFiction.net...apparently however that site does not host exsplicit material...says so in the rules...raziel3080 wrote...

Might I suggest deviantart, my good sir? So long as there's a mature filter on it, you can post...most anything.

Do you guys think Aveline is like Alistair and Morrigan when it comes to the plot, that she will be an important person that you pretty much have to have with you in certain areas/ your're stuck with for a while? I like Aveline, but I'm not sure there will be room in my party for her all the time.
To be honest... I hope not. Because look at how BioWare handled Morrigan. I know things turned out the way they did because of a much bigger purpose and so on, but I can't shake the feeling that it's similar to what they did with Revan.
Not refering to the whole 'cannon gender' fiasco (Lucas did that I think), but the fact that in the end, there was no happily ever after. At least not for the character in question. I know that what they did is artistic and so forth, but I always like it when characters (especially the main ones) are all ok at the ending of the story.
If Aveline does have a greater purpose, then I hope they won't get too extreme at the ending. Especially if she's going to be a LI (hopefully), let her be together with Hawke. Don't make me shoot Varric for making a bad ending :innocent:

Ah but not every story has a happy ending...I want to make my novel one of those cases...however my literature friend said that probably wouldn't go over very well...and hes probably right. But still...it's unrealistic for there to always be a happy ending. However the general agreement on the forums seem to be "Its ok for there to be a sad ending as long as theres a happy option as well." While that is acceptable to me I still feel that should not always be the case...but then again DAO did the "no real happy ending" thing very well imo. So DA2 is due for a happy endingJediHealerCosmin wrote...

I felt a disturbance in the Force while reading the last sentence. I think that somewhere... far, far away... a BioWare writer smiled
Fair enough. I am one of those people who shares the general oppinion, but I always let myself become to attached to some of the characters. And at the end of the day, I tell myself that "after all they went through, they deserve a happy ending". Not very good, I know, but that's my situation

It may seem torturous now, but it will be worth it in the end when the game launches.
But they are watching... always watching... You can feel essence of evil around you. The situation would be boring without it
