The PS3 version needs SOME sort of bonus stuff in order to entice people to buy. Plus the fact that they don't get ME1.

So it's not like including extra content on a later release is an unprecedented move for any publisher in existence.

Consider that right now you can buy ME2 on 360 for $30 brand new, and that ME2 for PS3 will probably be the full $60 in January. It would be a lot harder to justify that price difference without offering some sort of bonus for PS3 owners. Plus, you got plenty of free DLC through the Cerberus network if you bought the game early, so I really see no reason to complain.
Also, Bring Down the Sky was free for PC and came with the Platinum Hits version of ME1, but costs money to owners of the original. So it's not like including extra content on a later release is an unprecedented move for Bioware.
Yup, plus a bunch the making of the game videos, concept art with developer commentary, and the soundtrack.Tazzmission wrote...

... true colors are now being shown.
I hope everyone now sees what ME2 really was. I cannot believe that I fell for the trilogy story arc bullcrap that they marketed for Me1, this PS3 news completely pisses away any need for a player to even consider playing ME1.
This is what Bioware thinks of the ME franchise, 3 independent games under the guise of an RPG trilogy.
$$$$$$$ + Bioware = EA's ****
ME3 is going to suck because of the attitude this team has taken after the release of ME1. This is the exact reason why ME2 was disappointing to most fans, it became more about the market than the art.
Good bye Bioware, you can bet I will think twice before buying your games again. Peace out.

Wait, there's any source confirming that Kasumi, Overlord, Firewalker or any other paid DLCs will be on the PS3?
I think people needs to calm down a little.
I play on a PC, I don't care pretty much about consoles and I don't blame who buys them, it's the people's choice the plataform they use to play games.
Thank god for Blizzard and Valve, BTW.
If the PS3 comes with the free DLCs I don't see a reason to be angry at all, the content is free right?
But If I was an owner of the 360 verison, I think I will be a little upset if the paid content came included in the PS3 version.
So the owners of XBox have to pay for DLCs and the PS3 owners don't?
That's a little unfair.
No it's not. Under these circumstances the Xbox owners would have gotten access to the content much sooner. Bioware has to offer up some bonuses for people to buy a year old game.
