God no! If I may make one wish for Dragon Age 2, it is that Bioware stay the hell away from crappy modern rock music with guitars that sound like farting hamsters.
1. Rock guitars have no place in a medieval fantasy game unless it's a licensed adaptation of A Knight's Tale.
2. If you want your rock music to sound "hard", don't have guitars that sound like farting hamsters.
Seriously though. Am I the only one who thinks rock music is completely misplaced in a game like this?
I think it's more of a metal, maybe power metal song actually.Big Papa Gall wrote...
So what you're saying is, if a song has ANY guitar in it, it automatically becomes rock music?
0:41-0:45 in the Destiny trailer is my favourite part as well.Darthuan wrote...
And still no mp3.Can we have it? Can we have it, like, right now?
P.S. Chorus part is awesome.

I agree completely. I hated the rock music in DA:O: You've just completed the game. You (or me, atleast) get a great feeling of greatness. Then all of a sudden rock music starts playing. It kills the mood instantly.
Please Bioware, do what you did in ME2 and don't include any rock music, anywhere. If you do it like ME1 then it's fine, M4 Part II was pretty damn good. But I would still vastly prefer an orchestral soundtrack without any damn guitars...
You have to keep in mind the people crying about that are the same anal nutters who think a fantasy game with elves, dwaves, guys with antlers and magic fireballs should be grounded in 100% reality, and by reality i mean their local ren-fest they practicly live inJesse91 wrote...
it seems the mp3 hasn't arrived...no matter.
the end guitar riff is simply epic. i don't see a problem with mixing chorus and guitar.
