I find it odd how any female character we show (remember Morrigan?) will have their physical attributes picked apart on the forums and immediately declared ugly, doubly so if it's a prospective romance. In this respect, it almost makes me glad the marketing version of Hawke is male.

A) You've barely seen this character. You don't even get a good look at her in the trailer.
This sounds exactly like the comments following Morrigan's first appearance.C) I've yet to see any character that managed to be physically appealing to everyone. It's not possible. Yet I do notice that the dwelling on physical attributes is almost always restricted to female characters. All I said was it was odd-- perhaps not even odd, really, but sadly typical.
