Man Barkspawn is going to die from exhaustion hunting and half eating rabbits to drop into all those panty caches.

So many Morrigans to go around! I don't think I'll have time for them all!
All joking aside, I think its an Army of witchs that she will use to try to rule...or destroy...looks like I'll have to kill Flemeth again...

More Morrigans to kill? More xp. Sounds fine to me.

It would be interesting if that was an army of Flemeth's daughters. Still, I rather be killing Morrigan than a bunch of faceless losers. That would at least feel meaningful. Fighting them is probably going to feel like fighting darkspawn. You can only kill so many before they turn from credible threat to nuisance.

They are wearing the same outfit....... The real question is not if Flemeth has an army... Cause in the Destiny trailers it was strongly hinted that she was raiding one... But the real question is WHY is she building an army now? And to what end??
It's stuff like this that makes me excited for DA2....

This is great! I never noticed that Flemeth and the female mages had the same staff. Could be that Flemeth is behind this.
Now, if its Morrigan I don't know but it could be that Flemeth has more doughters hitten over the world.

Well, it is hinted at in some of the banter between Zevran and Morrigan that there are rumors of another Witch of the Wilds (and a sister for Morrigan) in Antiva. If Flemeth's army was of Witches of the Wilds, that could be interesting.

Kill em all I say, with lots of fire.
Apparently one of the morrigan soldiers is a necromancer cause this thread has been brought back from the dead

Maybe its just a visual aid thing. Maybe Varric is exaggerating or someone is telling a legend we haven’t heard yet about Flemeth. I think someone may have mentioned something like this earlier and it was shot down by saying something like “How would Varric know what Morrigan looked like?” Well I highly doubt he or anyone else for that matter is going to say “Flemeth and her army of daughters, who all looked just like Morrigan did ‘fill in the blank’” They’ll probably just say “Flemeth and her (army of) daughters”. As for them all looking like Morrigan, as I said before it could just be visual aid, they could have used Morrigan for the daughters appearances because she’s the only daughter of Flemeth that we know and is familiar to us. It would be better to reuse her image for a short story then make a new image that looked nothing like Morrigan.
Though if the Army of daughters thing is true I don’t think its hard to believe all of Flemeth’s daughters looked very much alike, since Morrigan hints that Flemeth looked like her when she was younger and Flemeth may have created her daughter(s) “in her image“ for lack of a better sentence. So maybe their not clones, they just all look like their mother. <- Very weak theory, I know.

Well, I'm guessing that now demon possessed Anders might factor into Flemeth's plans if they at all involve freeing mages or overthrowing the Chantry.

That's assuming Morrigan was telling the truth x-(
Exactly. Notice that she never shows you the book. She just tells you that Flemeth was planning to possess her. She also states that maybe THAT was the rason Flemeth sent her with you. The fact that she says later that she sent her with you to get the Old God baby only further proves that she was lying twice. Given how she lied so easily throughout the adventure, I don't trust her at all in Witch Hunt. All that stuff she said about change and freedom could've just been another pack of lies. I stabbed her, but dammnit, she fell through that portal.
Do I think Morrigan is evil? No. A power-hungry, inconsiderate, manipulative, egotistical psychopath, yes. But not evil. The thing with Morrigan, as most villains do, is that she doesn't consider herself a villain.
Howe was a douchebag. But did he think of himself as one? No. Vaughan was a sadistic ******, but I doubt he thought of himself as such. Most villains don't think of themselves as "evil people." Most of them think that they're heroes, or that what they're doing is "right," or whatever will get them what they want.
For me, Morrigan fits into the role of "she does whatever she'll have to in order to get what she wants," whether it's have sex with a Grey Warden, torch an orphanage, or jump off a cliff. Whatever will get her what she wants. Power is what matters to her.

i just finished DA2 and given the way it ended i seriously think the champion and the warden will team up for DA3 and this will probably b one of the final fights in that game.

Flemeth purpose is revenge... (I don't want to Spoiler anyone who doesn't know it, instead replay DA Origins and talk with Leliana... and listen to Zevran talking to Morrigan). Templars VS her army of Morrigans under Flemeth's control.
Searching wikipedia you'll find the evidence that Morrigan is a monster with the appearance of a pretty woman, hehe. We can find this celtic inspiration not only in Inon Zur's composition but the story.
In fact, there's one Morrigan that isn't under Flemeth's control... our hated-loved. And the essence of the old-god child is the clue to battle against that army. The change is not only on Hawke's hands but the Grey Warden Order (from Orlais, specially)... And Sandal's prophecy give us more details about what will happen in Dragon Age 3.
The conflict between Mother and Daughter.
The chasind/Morrigans - The god child with the essence of an old god (a Dragon... "Dragonborn"). Don't worry cause we will play as him in TES V: Skyrim, so Bioware will have time enough to work on the next entry in the saga.
When playing Skyrim I will think that my character is Morrigan's child.
I only want that Bioware put so much effort as they did in Origins... I don't want another hibrid (like DA 2)! Pls, 3 years more, different scenarios, charismatic characters, more about Grey Wardens, less about Hawke, more about Flemeth-Morrigan and less about Anders numbness.

God, this forum makes way too big of a ****ing deal over morrigan.
Its not as bad as the devotion to love interests in the ME forums (thankfully they separated the discussions to its own forum now.) At least Morrigan is actually highly relevant to the story.
