At the very least they both seem to be wearing the same Sacred Ashe style robes- same hand/glove things, same utility belt, same purple top, same skirt......

Brilliiiiiiant!

yes. The clothing model does appear to be the same!!!

When you zoom in and look at the various "Morrigan clones" some of them quite literally were cloned- as in Blur just copy/pasted some in the exact same pose to fill out the army there...

Maybe this is one of Varric's exaggerations? Or is this similar to Flemeth supposedly raising an army of Witches like she did back in the tale about Cormac?

But how exactly does Origins Morrigan fit in to all this? What about the Old God Baby for those that did the DR? I just hope they don't kill Morrigan off or simply have her be the original "clone" for Flemeth's lil' army, simply having her be a plot device.....

I think they maybe just took Morrigan's SA model and reused it since it's a not-even-a-second flash.

while i don't like Morrigan, I would like a "plot twist" of Flemeth having an army of identical "daughters". Not as if it would be of any surprise, considering the many hints of her having raised many others and you don't find any info on their whereabouts you can assume they are all either dead or gathered up as a brainwashed army somewhere.

I like the idea of the morrigan clone army because it is an interesting twist on the other known story with clones from Star Wars, where you have a clone army of which some persons become famous on their own, while in DA you would know Morrigan already then now in DA2 you would realize she was just a single clone who was perhaps meant to be raised in a different way than the others, the "foot soldiers".

They could just be apostates, followers of Flemeths or whoevers cult. I don't really want to see more than one Morrigan in Dragon Age.

Could be- although maybe some of those flashes are part of bigger trailers still to be released?

As for multiple Morrigans running around... I'm not a fan of a clone Morrigan army, it seems awfully goofy. The original Morrigan is plenty fine enough, IMO.

Apparently Flemeth REALLY got around.

I lol'd

I like the idea! Not.. Morrigans, but an army of Flemeth's daughters just seems so much more fascinating than your regular apostates.

The webcomic on the DA website DOES hint that Flemeth "manufactures" her daughters somehow...

Morrigan may not be the Template.. Just the one with Free-will....

Maybe Flemeth stole the souls of all her past daughters, then sort of unleashes them on willing mages following her, so the souls of her past daughters transform/possess all the apostate mages following Flemeth into Witches of the Wilds that just so happen to look like Morrigan?

I'm not putting it past flemeth and morrigan to have worked together to bring about the god child to the very end.
It's far fetched and propably doesn't apply but I have yet to see real "evil" in flemeth or morrigan for that matter. It isn't like they were going around eating little children.
Just had some abysmal moral ethics.
Also flemeth's story was tragic in a way.
Maybe in DA2 she'll turn out to be a real villain though...

edit: oops. now I remembered about the stealing fo the souls... emm yes... that was evil

The Stealing souls has been quite widely rumored about her.. So why not? The "followers" need even not be mages... The souls themselves can turn them into witches mayhaps....

The clip before the mages show an army with chantry symbol shields; so I'm thinking those mages are not Flemeth's daughters, Morrigan clones...etc. I think that's a picture of a Tevinter invasion.

Why all female tevinter mages? come on! It even seems as if the Flemeth in the next pic is ordering/encouraging them!
