This also brings the question what will happen if you kill flemeth, will she suddenly die in DA2 and then reappear?

Well, Morrigan even says that when you kill Flemeth she'll be back eventually. And at least Flemeth's appearance in the beginning of DA2 where she saves Hawke would e before she could have possibly been "killed" by the Warden.

At least killing her in Dao must have some kind of effect on her, maybe weakening her maybe? I dunno.

Omg.. An Army of Morrigans.. I wouldn't know what to do with myself.. So many of them = many ways to kill them.. Watch all those sweet fatalities, especially the trailer one to see a Morrigan ripped apart..

Ahh.. Going to be good times if this is true.

I would assume that it's more of a case of Varric exaggerating again than a clone army of Morrigans, but I can't deny that it would be plausible given what we actually know about Flemeth which isn't all that much. All we have are legends and speculation. It's not like the Warden ever got to leaf through Flemeth's first grimoire to see what it really said.

I think we are as likely to see an army of 'Morrigans' in the actual game as we are to find darkspawn on the Sacred Ashes mountain in DAO. :P

Thats the problem right here, morrigans entire explanation could be a lie, maybe the entire Idea of killing flemeth was to rebel aganist flemeth and her other daughters after she learnt about them from the grimoire. Also I can't think of any Idea how Varric could exaggrate the daughters of Flemeth, has Varic met Morrigan to be able to pull out such a fanfic? Ah so many questions...

God, this forum makes way too big of a ****ing deal over morrigan.

I could not agree more. My god it is Morrigan this, or Morrigan that, the Morrigan fans are almost as rabid as the Tali-mancers in the ME forums. I sincerely hope Bioware does not decide to jamm Morrigan down our throats. If you as a player want to suck up to Morrigan i believe you should be able to, just so long as i can ignore the overrated tart. This way everybody is happy except those few who think everybody SHOULD be as enamored about her as they are. I could not imagine anything more annoying than an army of Morrigans all disapproving of everything the PC does, while creeping me out with the "tis cold in my tent" because in truth honey, it is not cold in your tent it tis cold in your heart.

You are simply over-mis-interpreting everything. Did the OP ever say that all of them will be your party members AND LI???

I have seen a general trend amongst women on this forum to hate Morrigan (some kind of Feminine expression of Envy which I can not fathom). I am not necessarily targetting you though. Unless you so admit it later.....

You know, I like Morrigan. I am not a rabid Morrigan obsessive but the very first thing I thought when I saw that picture was "Oh so there's where all Flemeth's daughters went".

I don't think this thread has much to do with Morrigan fanboys.

If you are interested i have been on these forums, since a few months before DAO released, I like Morrigan's character as a villian, i do not see her as a heroine. As a heroine Morrigan's character is fail, as a villian she fits and is well done. The part of your comment about feminine expression of envy is also fail as i have a penis. But just because i have a penis does not mean that i am going to fall for batted eyelashes, a creepy "tis cold in my tent", a pair of firm rounded mamalian protruberences and am blind to the fact that Morrigan can not and will not ever care for anybody but herself. I would be extremely disappointed in Bioware if they turned Morrigan into some sympathetic "i have always relied on the kindness of strangers" type character to sell her character when as a villian they already made the sale. She is a better villian than anything else. My opinion of Morrigan has gone from what a waste of digital space to an appreciation for her villiany and i would hate to have that change, and as i feel about Morrigan as i do i would not believe the change anyway. I have been on these forums speaking against the Morrigan gush as i feel it is necessary to maintain some objectivity and when Bioware finally exposes her villiany i want to be the "I told you so guy" having earned it. Image IPB

If anyone is the "Tali" of Dragon Age, in terms of (creepy/silly/funny) fandom, it's currently Varric.

Those mages may not mean much, just a random representation of mages vs templars in DA2. Although, they do have neat uniforms, better than the Mages Collective.

I thought it was self explanitory with my previous posts on this page. The Morrigan fans like people of a religious belief system will never be happy until everybody is a Morrigan fan. They will get butthurt when you do not sing the praises of the Morrigan, and are unwilling to discuss any contrary opinion. I know i have been trying to have a rational discussion concerning Morrigan for close to 7 months now, to no avail.

Morrigan fans seem to want closure to the Morrigan story but seem to over look that the developers already provided that by the players refusal of the Dark Ritual. Of course not being happy with the closure already provided by the developer, will rail and scream at the lack of closure to the Morrigan story, when in reality it is railing and screaming at the lack of "acceptable" closure. Such is the fanaticism of the Morrigan fan. They would have the developer through assinine plot manipulations force the demon child as canon upon everybody with out a choice in the matter. When the subject of a Morrigan DLC is broached they will state that it can never do Morrigan's story justice, when in truth no amount of Morrigan story will ever make them happy.

I love DAO, i have purchased every DLC or expansion for DAO but i can assure you that the Morrigan DLC will be the first i pass on. As far as i am concerned Morrigan's story ended with my 17 out of 19 refusals of her dark ritual. I have no further need of Morrigan and have no problem with people getting whatever version of closure Bioware chooses to provide, if of course it will provide closure and an end to the Morrigan debate once and for all. I have stated in other posts that if the Morrigan DLC was written in such a manner that i could treat Morrigan as the villian i believe she is this would be enough to make me revisit my choice to purchase any Morrigan DLC. I have a feeling though that this will not be the case, the Morrigan fans will take the developers to task for even considering this as an option so the developers will cave to avoid controversy just as they did with side boob in ME2 due to the FAUX  news controversy concerning ME.

I for one was greatly relieved that DA2 was not going to be a story about Morrigan and the demon spawn option i did not choose to excercise. I am on these forums every night providing a counter point to the Morrigan gush, where ever and when ever i see it as someone has to do it. If there was no counterpoint we could according feeling i get from Morrigan fans dispense with Dragon Age in the title and just call the game The Adventures of Hello Morrigan, some Little House on the Prarie opening scene with Morrigan singing and dancing while birds and butterflys flitter about with kittens and puppies asleep at her feet. I just made myself nauseous.

That's not true. People of a religious belief system tend to be happy whether or not another believes with them. Certainly one would be pleased to have another be a part of their group, as with any public group, but "never be happy until everybody joins" is wrong.

We're assuming their clothes off a one second flash of a army with similar clothes and staffs? Because no such army in the world has worn the same clothes and used the same weapons as their counterparts? Who is to say Morrigan's robes were created simply in the wilds and weren't a style Flemmeth took with her?

If we were going to play along the lines of a army of sisters, (I might buy demons in disguise but clones is a bit far fetched). Morrigan was obviously a huge exception to the rule, maybe because it was supposed to be her body Flemmeth took over or whatever. But instead of giving the Warden a army of ultra powerful mages she handed over the one she raised personally to go try to grab multiple armies so that maybe Morrigan could seduce one of the grey wardens and then maybe they could make a god baby.

I don't know about everyone else but that seems incredibly sloppy too me. And leaves way too much up to chance. I don't think Flemmeth is that uncaring about her goals and would risk so much.

Also final point, if there was a Army of Morrigan's lying around someone would of had to see them, it'd make no sense that only once was there ever a description matching Morrigan and it was just one woman. I think you guys are reading way to much into a army.
