I thought it was self explanitory with my previous posts on this page. The Morrigan fans like people of a religious belief system will never be happy until everybody is a Morrigan fan. They will get butthurt when you do not sing the praises of the Morrigan, and are unwilling to discuss any contrary opinion. I know i have been trying to have a rational discussion concerning Morrigan for close to 7 months now, to no avail.

Morrigan fans seem to want closure to the Morrigan story but seem to over look that the developers already provided that by the players refusal of the Dark Ritual. Of course not being happy with the closure already provided by the developer, will rail and scream at the lack of closure to the Morrigan story, when in reality it is railing and screaming at the lack of "acceptable" closure. Such is the fanaticism of the Morrigan fan. They would have the developer through assinine plot manipulations force the demon child as canon upon everybody with out a choice in the matter. When the subject of a Morrigan DLC is broached they will state that it can never do Morrigan's story justice, when in truth no amount of Morrigan story will ever make them happy.

I love DAO, i have purchased every DLC or expansion for DAO but i can assure you that the Morrigan DLC will be the first i pass on. As far as i am concerned Morrigan's story ended with my 17 out of 19 refusals of her dark ritual. I have no further need of Morrigan and have no problem with people getting whatever version of closure Bioware chooses to provide, if of course it will provide closure and an end to the Morrigan debate once and for all. I have stated in other posts that if the Morrigan DLC was written in such a manner that i could treat Morrigan as the villian i believe she is this would be enough to make me revisit my choice to purchase any Morrigan DLC. I have a feeling though that this will not be the case, the Morrigan fans will take the developers to task for even considering this as an option so the developers will cave to avoid controversy just as they did with side boob in ME2 due to the FAUX  news controversy concerning ME.

I for one was greatly relieved that DA2 was not going to be a story about Morrigan and the demon spawn option i did not choose to excercise. I am on these forums every night providing a counter point to the Morrigan gush, where ever and when ever i see it as someone has to do it. If there was no counterpoint we could according feeling i get from Morrigan fans dispense with Dragon Age in the title and just call the game The Adventures of Hello Morrigan, some Little House on the Prarie opening scene with Morrigan singing and dancing while birds and butterflys flitter about with kittens and puppies asleep at her feet. I just made myself nauseous.

As Shakespeare would say, A lot of ado about Nothing.

Where did anyone on this thread say that and was populourly held as a hero of so called cult of the Morrigan? Are you so self-absorbed in your opinions that you can not see that the thread is discussing FACTS from the game?

It is about a possible plot where we see Flemeth leading a seeming army of Morrigans (a loose word to indicate Flemeth's daughters) against templars....

I think you are just very bigoted against your own imaginary religion and become a zealot. I myself love Morrigan's character very much.. she is a strange mix of innocence, Intelligence, Power and Wit.... All while being exotically fetching. But I never stressed that as a point anywhere. Now if you get a backlash on this forum from Morrigan fans (assuming they are reading it) be very well advised that you caused it yourself.

If its an army of Morrigan sisters, than it's more likely they will sacrifice you to fuel their blood magic rather than have sex with you. However, I could be wrong.

It's good old Bioware being cheap & reusing old models with very little modification. That's my theory anyway.

Err... I think you mean Blur (or is it Blurr?), not BioWare. BioWare makes the game, not the trailer(s).

Well, it's bioware that has to pay for new models so they probaly said reuse Morrigan. Afterall she is Flemeth's daughter. Anyway it's just my theory.

If there was such a thing like an army of Morrigan's sisters, you could assume that Flemeth is for them the same as the Archdemon is for the Darkspawn.

Spoiler!!!:

Think about it. If the Archdemon dies without been slayn by a Warden, it's reborn in the next avaible Darkspawn.

If Flemeth dies, she's reborn in one of her daughters.

We never learned ton know what kind of abomination Flemeth is. It's unknown what kind of demon possesses her.

I assume Flemeth does not bear a simple pride demon, I think she bears an old god herself without the taint of the Darkspawn. This would explain some of her abilities, like transforming into a dragon, or holding the Darkspawn near her hut at bay.

This also explains her motives in DA:O, she basically wanted to secure the Archdemon without the taint in Morrigan's baby. Flemeth wanted to rescue an old god. This would make more sense if she presents another old god herself.

If Flemeth is similar to an Archdemon/old God than perhaps the Morrigan of the first game is similar to the Archtect from Awakening, an independant spirit who doesn't suit Flemeth's plans.

I understand the Morrigan hate, although personally I find her a lot more bearable than Velanna from Awakenings. At least Morrigan was just mostly passive-aggressive. Velanna's a full-blown psychopath.

I answered a question, and as always when someone has something to say about the Morrigan the fan back lash is to be expected, hell i am used to it. It is the only way i know to judge just how close to the truth I have come by the evaluating the level of invective. If what i said had no grain of truth to it people would just ignore it, but as always i struck a nerve. In reality it is no diferent than the Tali-mancers in the ME forums, an unreasonable expectation for everyone to lock step behind a character who is no more valid than any other character in the game. When the invective fails to sway the contrary opinion, derision is soon to follow, ending of course in that supereior position of dismissal. I only used a correlation to religion as an attempt to provide an example of the fanaticism the Morrigan's fans have,  that after 7 plus months of providing counter point to the Morrigan gush is to be expected, if i am on target. I got "rocks fall, Velanna dies." Besides, on a ****iness scale of 1-10, I'd only put Morrigan on 5 since her delivery is funny as well as having some fun Pet the Barkspawn moments. Velanna's an 11 for me, seesawing between Elven Rage and whining about her damned sister. Seriously, if it weren't for the alleged game crash for entering the Silverite cave without her, I'd have just killed her psychopathic little ass.

This thread has nothing to do with Morrigan fanboyism, we are discussing a scene from the trailer that looks very much like Morrigans "Flemeths daughters". If you have nothing to contribute but to bash and whine then go away.

I have one thing to say: If there ends up being some cheesy morrigan clone army(I so highly doubt it cause Bioware could not be so cheesy and silly about it) I'm going to have to get ready for the Morrigan-genocide. Flemeth can stay, she's ok.

Clothing and weapons can be duplicated. There is no way I'm going to believe that Flemeth ever raised an army of daughters She is far too keen on having power herself to create that many challengers.

Maybe it was neither, maybe there were great casualties and a third party stepped in and stopped the fighting....
