Above is the link to the director's cut of Dragon Age Destiny trailer. Seems Flemeth's army of mages battle the Grey Wardens of the Free Marches. Interesting.
Agreed with poster above, Alistair's worst nightmare, an army of Morrigan's.
I've always felt that killing Flemeth released her old body and the Arch demon was the new body that she really needed. I've also had it in my mind something that Duncan tells before sending your party to the Korcari Wilds that only a Grey Warden could open that chest. So was Flemeth a Grey Warden of old? Just something I've always thought about.
Or was Flemeth actually one of the original Trevinter Mages that was corrupted and she found a way to turn herself around from becoming an arch demon?

Even with the dlc we've already been told by the developers that Morrigan's story will continue in DA2 regardless of the dlc. Chris Priestly also hinted that the Warden's story from Origins might not be over if you've read all the threads on these topics.

Yes it's been confimed that Flemeth does return in DA2.

Yes it's been confimed that Flemeth does return in DA2.
I know she appears in the trailer, but everyone is taking it for granted that the dragony lady is Flemeth. She doesn't look much like Flemeth to me

I think it started because a concept art image of her on gameinformer's web site had "Flemeth" in the title. Since then, I don't think there's been any explicit statement saying that she is Flemeth, but there's been eyewitness reports of the dialogue, and I assume Kate Mulgrew's voice is distinctive enough that it makes it fairly clear. Other than that, it's just sort of been generally accepted, and even statements from devs seem to sort of take it into account without outright stating "this is Flemeth." As an example, in the recent GameTrailers pop-up thing, it has one saying that was Flemeth in her new host body. One of Chris Priestly's subsequent posts in this thread, mentioning some of the things that might not be accurate, includes the statement: "Flemeth's new host? Come on!" The issue seems to be with the "host" part, and not that she is Flemeth.
Anyway, that's just one (admittedly very obscure) example, but overall I think it's just safe to say that is indeed Flemeth.

This isn't the way I'm reading this. It's the end of the Warden and Morrigan's story arc, not the end of Morrigan's story.

An apostate revolution, looks as though the Templars are going to have to put em' down! Exalted March anyone? That would be badass IMO, I've always liked the Templars, but I don't agree that simply because you're a mage you are branded evil and caged. As for malificarum, they deserve to be hunted down and exterminated. Which is why I want the Chantry to remain strong, so when those threats do arise, they can be stopped before any major harm is done. The threat of malificars has everyone paranoid, and then innocent mages are wrongly accused. It reminds me of the Salem Witch trials, you want somebody dead for personal gain? Accuse then of witchcraft, or in this case malificarum. It's really complicated and I'm still torn on this one. Which side to be on, mage or templar?
