Hey guys,
Before you jump down my throat for posting something that has been discussed before please read.
I found another similar post a few days back and followed the steps to correct the problem as well as did my own research.
After removing the Single Player folder (first I tried renaming it) I am still unable to make a new game. I already beat the game once and wanted to play through it again with another character. At the same time I am working on a group project using the toolset and I am not going to uninstall it, pretty sure it would not change anything anyways.
I am running Vista 64, if you know of a fix for this and can spend a few minutes writing a detailed description I would really appreciate it. Again, my apologies for posting this as a seperate topic, I simply couldn't find the other one.

What error message do you get, or what happens, when you try to begin a new game?

If you're going to start fresh anyways, just chuck out (or move, or rename) the entire base level Bioware folder in your C: \\ Users \\ YOUR-LOGIN-NAME \\ Documents.
You may lose keybindings and such, but might work? Just rename it to Xioware and see if it works..?

ah, just saw you're using the toolset, so you won't want the whole folder changed... dunno what to say...

I renamed the single player folder, now when I start a new game I cant hit escape or it crashed during the opening trailer. If i watch it all the way through it crashes also. I want to play again and I am starting to get really frustrated.
The error message comes up instantly when you hit New Game "Unable to load module"
Upon deleting the singleplayer folder in My Documents it crashes, but I am at least able to proceed past clicking on New Game

This is a working fix that I found in another forum post here.
These of some of the solutions to the negative effects the toolset has on the game, they seem to work for 99% of issues, so please try these before deleting everything.
1) Load toolset, goto tool > export > Empty Export Directories
2)
FIND:
X:\\\\\\\\Documents and Settings\\\\\\\\
Delete anything called single player
3)
FIND
Delete anything in this folder
4)
FIND:
Delete anything in this folder
This
should clear up any issues you have, re-installing the game will have
pretty much zero effect on the problem and will just waste your time.
P.S It would be nice if a mod stickied this, or perhaps made there own one

ither A, reinstalling the gamem eans it wont effect your save files and the bugg is in your save files
also this is why formatting wont fix, they coppy and paste there 'my document folder'
another possibility is bioware is sending data to your version of the game when you reinstall.

I've had this problem ever since I first installed the toolset. I've solved it in the past by removing anything SQL/Toolset related (including the registry keys) and deleting files as described by CrazyRussian82 above. Then reboot and don't use the toolset again until Bioware fixes it. Don't even install the toolset. Don't even think toolset loudly.
If you're still having trouble after the reboot, then reinstall the game. Continue to pretend there is no toolset.
Check out the wiki page on trouble installing Dragon Age (don't have the link, sorry) for more info about which registry keys to remove if you aren't sure.

No sooner do I open my mouth than version 1.01 of the toolset comes out. Ignore my previous post...unless this one has the same problems as the last one.
