Shirt design is OK, but could be improved - put the guns into blastos arms... or hands... or tentacles or whatever.

Anyway, here's my guess:

1) Red9 / DL-44 blaster (Han Solo's Blaster - Star Wars)

2) FN P90 smg

3) M2019 Blaster (Blade Runner)

4) M41-A

5) BFG 9000 (DOOM series)

6) Gravity Gun (Half Life series)

Unless you're banking just on geeks to buy the t-shirt....geez, I didn't even know there was a jellyfish called blasto till I came into these forums.

This is a video game forum, we are gamers, not geeks, if you are going to just come here and rant then get lost.

First: Tell us what you think of this shirt. Would you buy it if we sold it on the store? Liek it? Not so much? What do you think?

I'm a geek and that above is STILL my opinion, if I didn't come to these forums, if I didn't happen to play this game more than once and caught the faint news coverage in Illium, I STILL wouldn't have any idea what blasto is. So is Bioware gonna target at people that happen to come to this forum or managed by chance to listen to the news of blastos in-game as their primary customers for this particular t-shirt?

My bad, at first you seemed like one of those people who rarely play video games and acts like he is overly good at them...I really don't know how to describe the type of person I'm thinking of...You might know what I'm talking about, I live in a town filled with posers. Anyways, my sencere appologies, I am quick to judge do to the people I have to see every day. I hate most people.

1) Red9 / DL-44 blaster (Han Solo's Blaster - Star Wars)

2) FN P90

3) HWS M2019 Blaster (Blade Runner)

4) M41-A Pulse Rifle (Aliens)

5) BFG (Doom)

6) Gravity Gun (Half Life II)

Don't really like the shirt... I like the idea but it could use some more refining!

1.) I wouldn't buy the shirt. Blasto deserves more justice than just a plain phrase; I'd prefer seeing an image from a poster of his upcoming movie. If "Enkindle This!" is going to be used, he should be in this stance a la Dirty Harry:

2) It's not much of a contest if people can simply read this thread and get all of the answers. Only one person here pointed out the Bladerunner revolver and others simply followed suit after he identified it. Not a good way to run a contest, since it's not really a contest.

1-DL-44 (or the Red9, which the DL-44 is based on)

2-FN P90

3-Blade Runner HWS M2019 Blaster

4-M41-A Pulse Rifle

5-Bio-Force Gun

6-Zero-Point Energy Field Manipulator (aka Gravity Gun)

Like I said on the wall, I'm not feeling the shirt, He should be holding a big honking gun or a few of them... otherwise its just a weird looking jelly fish

That is a pretty epic picture you got there, A little work might need to be done around the hanar, but still awesome.

I do agree that it does seem weird to have a contest on a forum of which everyone could see...but whatever.

Thank you.

That was a quick concept job. I have tweaked around with it a bit using blur:

Not perfect, but good enough for me.

About the T-Shirt:
At first I thought, that Shepard was playing for New Zealand national soccer team (or rugby) :). Even N7 is allmost identical as NZ he he.
Preordered figurines here just for that shirt. I like it.

Yah know, what I'd really like to see is character T-Shirts done in an artistic air-brush style. For example: http://tinyurl.com/23nk5sl

Hmmm. I like the concept, but I'm not sure I'd buy it for two reasons.

First, the depending on the size of the graphic, that text may be difficult to read in that font and color, with the font overlayed on the image.

Second, (and I don't know if this is part of the final design or simply done so for the sake of the contest, and if the latter then ignore this part) the gun outlines blend into the background too much and the white number bubbles (buttons?) are more noticeable than the actual weapons.

Still, nice job. I hope you sell lots of t-shirts (then maybe we'll get a Garrus? :3).

PS: Not a big deal, but why is Blasto purple instead of pink like the rest of the hanar? Is it some merchandising thing about pink being gender-specific?

About the t-shirt, I'm not so keen on it, honestly. If it was stylized painting, like some of Blasto's better fan arts, sure. Then again, I'm such a big fan of Blasto... plus, it looks a bit too dark overall. Blasto should be fun, and colorful! He's a pun character, after all.

Well, chances are I'm already late, but for the sake of chance:

1. Han Solo's DL-44 blaster pistol (Star Wars OT)

2. Belgian FN P-90 AR

3. Deckard's pistol (Blade Runner)

4. Marine Pulse AR (Aliens)

5. BFG (DooM)

6. gravity gun (Half-Life)

Although the last one is barely recognizable on that photo...

frankly aside from the good ol' N7 Shirts none of these really do it for me

couldn't you just make a contest? let fans design shirts

then BioWare could narrow it down (quality check and you wouldn't want to let voting take place for that many entries...)

once the numbers are down to a handful let fans vote for their favourites

for many such design contest by entering the participants would give the company in questions the rights for the designs and you could add a gift coupon for the store to the winner...

The numbers are likely done for the sake of referencing them for the competition easier. I doubt they'll be on the finished shirt. Not sure if the guns will remain blacked out or not though.

Speaking of which, we have ten correct (we think) answers now.

This I support. It makes sense too - let people decide if they like it, chances are higher they'll buy it.

I am not too fond of the background of the shirt. My main issue with it being it just looks bland to me, and doesn't seem to go well with the Hanar. I also am not a big fan of the Hanar, which might be adding to my dislike of it.

As for the gun outlines, my list would have to be :

1)DL-44 blaster - Star wars Han's Blaster (After inspecting the barrel, it looks a lot more like Han's blaster than a red 9. I thought it may have been a red-9 with a supressor, but that would be one funky looking supressor.)

2)FN P90 - Multiple games/Real Life Firearm

3)M2019 Blaster - Blade Runner

4)M41-A Pulse Rifle - Aliens series

5)BFG - Doom

6)Gravity Gun - Half-Life 2 (If you guys wanted to be sneaky it could also be the Physics Gun from Garry's Mod. It's just like the gravity gun, only themed blue instead of orange. I doubt you would do that, since it would be impossible to determine which, since it's just a black outline.)

hmmhm, just supply some kind of t-shirt template  and some graphics like the N7 logo, paragade & renegade symbols etc. and things from DA as files without background (wouldn't have to be limited to that, but would sure make things easier), it doesn't even have to be high quality, someone with more expertise than the average forum user could then re-build the winning entry/entries
but geez, let the designers keep working on new games and let us have some fun
;)

The blaster (1) is Han's, it's just the prop from TESB that had the upper scope removed and slightly redesigned barrel.

1.DL-44 2.FN P90

3.Blade Runner HWS M2019 Blaster

4.M41-A Pulse Rifle

5.BFG

6.Zero-Point Energy Field Manipulator (gravity gun)

The T-shirt is kind of goofy. I don't think it really works at all for people that haven't played Mass Effect, so you'd kind of look like a tool wearing it in public. Maybe get rid of the quote, or put it on the back?

I would DEFINITELY buy this shirt.

EDIT: would buy the shirt if it didn't have the numbers on the guns.  Also, I'd prefer if Blasto was holding the guns.
