I'm thinking about trying Mass Effect but I admit I'm overchallenged with comparing system specs nowadays, especially the names of graphic cards leave me puzzled...

Can anyone tell me if I'd be able to play Mass Effect on the PC with the following system specs (and without hazarding a lot of disadvantages)? Thanks!

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ 2,10 GHz
1GB RAM
Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit)
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE

Means Mass Effect won't run smoothly unless I buy a new graphic card and one additional GB RAM? That's a bit more than I'd want to invest right now... I guess I'll have to stick with the oldies but goldies for the time being then, still plenty of fun to have with 'em.

Thanks for the detailed reply!

I think you'd have to invest more than you realize because upgrading from entry level video hardware to a gaming card usually also requires upgrading to a power supply of a quality brand.
