I'm guessing those massive doors you see him opening and the deep roads scenes lead here... and sorry I can't seem to get images to post for some reason. :-S

"why is a lone Qunari there at all?" What do you think all Qunari live in their own lands and follow one philosophy? Why can't some leave? It makes sense to me that this one would be alone. Its a mage and we all know how the Qunari treat their mages, so it makes perfect sense for this one to seek life elsewhere.bri-zilla wrote...
Okay, this may be stupid and obvious, but it just occured to me:
Why is Hawke fighting the Qunari in the first place?
And if that is Kirkwall ( which we're all assuming it is ), why is a lone Qunari there at all?
Is there some sort of Qunari invasion going on?
Is this Qunari like Sten, there to collect information?
And why is a Qunari using magic ( Mind Blast usage )? Arent Qunari mages, "locked in pins and treated like animals."?
"Is there some sort of Qunari invasion going on?" I doubt that very much. To my knowledge they are still fighting with Tevinter. They would have to defeat them before they could try and push further south. And since we only saw 1 Qunari I don't we should assume he has an army. Not a Qunari one anyway.
"Is this Qunari like Sten, there to collect information?" I don't think bioware would use the same plot twice.

Yeah, but why start another war with the Free Marches? They would have to fight a war on two fronts. Well it would really be 3 fronts since they would also have to fight Ferelden. So they would be stretching themselves thin and I can't see them making that mistake.Arttis wrote...
Taking over kirkwall would be good for going against the tevinter..Since you know they have not taken the place over yet...

They are using the same kind of "staffs", isn't it...
Its like the forces of Mordor are gathering against Ferelden.

It's even worse when you know what that "guy" is made of.

To establish a permanent base of operations near the center of Thedas? And in a weak region made up of isolated city states. Besides the fact it's easier to access the Tevinter from there than from whatever they have now.atheelogos wrote...

Personally i think that what they showed was that hawke has as specialization reaver. With the bloodmarking at the start.
Or a specialized form of Blood Magic like the stuff we get from Warden's Keep. I'm sure if Avernus can cook up a few goodies. Flemeth can bake a whole pan of them.

I never said that it was a good golem.
Besides, the Harvester was a golem made out of corpses. I don't see a probelm with one having a skull for a head. If that is a skull. I thought it looked kind of like a sculpted head, but I could be wrong

I did side with the mages in Origins practically everytime I've played however, but that doesn't change the fact that I would rather side with religious fanatics than Flemeth's supposed "army".
