I never said that he didn't, just that he did it like a coward would. Thus Warden > Hawke.
I'd say the same about the DR Warden, though, but that choice is sort of forced upon you when you are intent on playing the expansion.

No...Sten stays up throughout the whole fight. We actually see Hawke defeat a powerful foe by himself, using powers we never see the Warden using. Malcolm does nothing but kill a few darkspawn.
In any case, I don't vote for either.
