I think a more interesting question is which would be the aggressor in this inevitable Heroes’ Miscommunication battle, which would be the first to realize that they had been manipulated the whole time and allow himself to be briefly incapacitated to reveal the true threat, who are the second stringer villains who teamed up for this cockamamie plan to pit them against each other, what is the uncontrollable weapon that is then lost control of, and which first suggests the other one’s finishing move in order to stop it, before they then trade off defeating the other's foe, nod respectfully that in another time they would be enemies but today they have found a friend, and depart for their home territories, their horizons broadened and their wills steeled for the trials to come? And what the hell would Gorilla Grodd think of this mess, I mean, he’s a super intelligent ape, he’d have seen that this matchup was pointless and long since retreated to Borneo or something.

I think a lot of things.

You have just become my favorite BioWare employee.

Who is Hawke?

His name is Mike Hawke. He's a hard bastard that can rip a qunari right in half.

He's a troll, ignore him.

You need to look more closely at what I said. B)

...

No, no, I think I'll continue to ignore the implications.

Hawke's a cool guy fights darkspawn and not afraid of anything.

You don't think it's a teeny dishonorable, using that logic, to attack them with a sword?

So if I'm a soldier in Africa and I run out of ammo, it's dishonorable they attack me with knifes? After all I'm just wearing camouflage and I am not ready for hand to hand combat.

So if Hawke had simply called upon his...I don't know, Hell Hand powers (we also don't know the requirements for casting that spell--maybe you need to be at half life or something) right away, that would be honorable? Yeah, not seeing that. Killing him now, or killing him later doesn't change how "honorable" it is.

the only honorable thing was to get killed and let the warden handle the job and let us play with him in DA2.:D:D:D

Another honorable thing you could do is to leave the internet. Forever.

This, but I feel at ease; eventually he will show his stupidity to someone IRL and he will learn how not to be an idiot once they knock his brain into position.

Hell no. Hawke hardly beat one Qunari. The Warden killed an Archdemon. Warden still wins from what we know.

Hawke was solo and level one. Warden was level 20+ and had three companions.

The Golem and the Dace Bros. fell but my Warden still stood strong and slew the Harvester.

There are six wardens and one hawke. You do the math. Numbers count and the problem is mage warden kills everyone.

Mage Hawke has finishers, though.

How could Hawk possibly win when he almost lost to a qunari, the Warden was able to solo the Archdemon and walked away from it alive!

Like I said, Hawke is level one! Warden is obviously a level 20+ that has PC mods.

These kinds of discussions are not meant to be taken seriously, they are meant to be fun ... you do remember fun, right?

I think a far more important question is: If Hawke and the Warden teamed up could they take out Darth Vader riding King Kong?

at filetmo,

warriors are easier to play then mages, i have done both. warriors don't require half as much strategy as a mage, all you do is run in and hack and slash. plus warriors wear heavy armour and carry gigantic weapons, mages wear robes. your use of real world 'logic' in a game makes no sense because obviously mages don't really exist. plus if you were a good mage you wouldn't run out of mana before your enemy is dead, therefore needing to run away and be what you call cowardly.

i'm not saying either class isn't cool, but your logicis flawed.

Naw, summoning arms like that is totally not level 1.  Probably not 20+ I agree but he's got some levels on him.

How do you know Hawke is first level in this?  He might be Beard Level Awesome and that is just one very beefy Qunari ... or maybe Hawke's Beard and the Qunari's Horns are struggling to cancel one another out and the effort is leaving them both greatly weakened?

You know, this is such a possible thing to compare.

Seeing as how our "warden" isn't a set character like Hawke is, there is no way to tell.

Put Hawke against a Warrior-Warden: Interesting battle. My warden was a dual-weild MONSTER.

However, from the looks of things that Blood-Magic he fooled with could be quite tempting.

Put hawke against a Mage, I have a feeling he'll be agile enough to, for the most part, dodge incomming attacks, especially missile-types.

Put hawke against a Rogue, that might be a bit of a trouble, especially one from a distance with a Bow.

It's all so....situational.

However.

It is outrageous how badass he looks.

From the looks of things, they're wanting to change the way of thinking about Qunari, toward what it SHOULD have been in the first place. Sten just looked kind of like a version of the Undertaker.

This dude looks like someone you'd wanna be afraid of.

So putting a seasoned warrior against a quaniri, of course that's going to be a rough battle considering the supposed strength and skill of the race.

I would have to say using what skills Hawke has is FAR from "cowardly."

all i know is, hawke's more handsome... who cares about glowing eyes... your warden's eyes never did glow when you played origins, doubt hawke's really will...
