Hell no. Hawke hardly beat one Qunari. The Warden killed an Archdemon. Warden still wins from what we know.
Hawke was solo and level one. Warden was level 20+ and had three companions.
And an army.

Warden equals Champion. Hawke equals Arcane Blood Warrior. If it was 1v1 then Hawke would win. If it was 4v4 then possibly the Warden

Never warden beated a friken archdemon.. thats like 10 qunaries or more and he had trouble with one
That's a bit of an abstraction resulting from the gameplay mechanics though, don't you think? Just because he beat the archdemon doesn't mean he will also automatically defeat every skilled warrior he comes across thereafter because they're less powerful than the archdemon.
Havent you played pokemon?

I think a more interesting question is which would be the aggressor in this inevitable Heroes’ Miscommunication battle, which would be the first to realize that they had been manipulated the whole time and allow himself to be briefly incapacitated to reveal the true threat, who are the second stringer villains who teamed up for this cockamamie plan to pit them against each other, what is the uncontrollable weapon that is then lost control of, and which first suggests the other one’s finishing move in order to stop it, before they then trade off defeating the other's foe, nod respectfully that in another time they would be enemies but today they have found a friend, and depart for their home territories, their horizons broadened and their wills steeled for the trials to come? -snipaboutgorillas-
Are you trying to tell us something Lukas?
About Warden vs Hawke, no idea. Teasers are Cutscene Power to the Max, so not valid. Remember how deadly Morrigan´s Shapeshifting was in the Urn of Sacred Ashes, Leliana´s chraged arrows and so on. I doubt he could take the Warden after Awakening though. Overpowered is quite an understatement.
Thats true. Drop my lvl 35 post Awakening Mage into the world of DA2 and he would eat whomever they put in front of him alive... and then have his way with Flemeth, just because he can.

There was a lot to do with the Warden and he/she si not just a damn Warden, they were also picked to be great people but you throw that character under the bus and you bring in a person that my warden help to save at one point but you let the lowlife change the world and not the character that started the damn game, how does it make you feel good?
I bet David will use Hawke in all the rest of his games, you, David said it was about the world, but you make a game around Hawke, you lie..
You could have voiced the Warden and made it his or her game, bah!

It's reall damn simple, David wrote these characters and Hawke is his gold boy, if that was the what you wanted to do, why the hell even bring in the warden, you get people that love that character and he/she should be the one shaping the world, but you bring in thsi noob of a character to what end? I swear why even buy anything for your Warden, I think David hates the Warden and will kill him/her off in a moot way.

Ha funny thing was throughout GoA i really thought they were going to drop a boulder on the warden and just end it there, and i got pretty nervous during that final scene but thankfully hes still alive... at least until gaider has something to say about it

Its funny but David Gaider hates the Warden and you can tell when anyone wants the Warden back, when point of fact should have never of been taken away, but he brings in this bum that should have been killed by darkspawn to be better then any person in the DAO legend and to boot, make him the one that changes the world "FOREVER".
It's like saying we don't want spiderman to be in the world anymore and we bring in bugman, thats just how Hawke compares to the Warden, oh and if it pisses David off about that, well hell my boy, you should have made it Hawke from the get go. blah.

It's funny how you contradict yourself, first you say that David lied because he said Da:O was about the world and not around a character and then he makes a game around Hawke when they should have made another story for the warden:?.... you know... if they had picked again the warden they would be doing exactly what you say, but choosing Hawke for the second game avoids that:innocent:, besides, even if bioware chose a third game with Hawke I wouldn't think of that as something bad, i prefer to have many games around a character fully voiced and with a real background than with a mude and men-dwarfe-elf character without name and a poor past, and frankly, even if you are a genius with the face editor, the face of your character wouldn't be as good as the face of a default Hawke.

Is everything important going to have it´s root in Ferelden? Andraste, a Blight, Hawke´s birth place (seems so),...

Also, even if you still think killing the Archdemon was an achievement, Hawke has a beard. He automatically wins.

I hate the Warden?
Because clearly the only reason to move onto a new hero was because I hate the old one? Because Hawke is my precious baby (even though the Warden was just as much mine as Hawke is)?
I feel like I wandered into "I forgot to take my meds" land again.

Lolwut? it's just a Hero change, the Warden prevented the world from being changed to the worse by stopping the Blight, Hawke will now change the world in other ways.
The change of hero is rather logical, there can't be just one godlike person with the power to change the world, that would make the world of Thedas rather dull.
As for the battle, I think Hawke wins. They fight countless times and each time it's a stalemate, then after 30 years the Warden loses to the taint/goes to deep roads and Hawke wins.

Gaider with the unnecessary insult again. Reign yourself in.
I think I have to agree with him, there are some people posting in this thread who seem to be a few pennies short...
The wardens story is over, stopping the blight was his/her 'moment' in history. There are many other stories to tell I would imagine, Thedas doesn't revolve around the warden. And just because they choose to tell a different story doesn't diminish the warden's in any way, just as the warden's story didn't make Marric's or Andraste's accomplishments any less.
