Hi, basically what the post says, its the Direct2Drive downloaded version, which has the patches applied to it already. The document included says that this particular problem has been solved with the 1.03 patch again already included. The rest of the game runs fine graphics wise unlike others I've seen on this site (and the old site).  My specs are:

Windows 7 64bit
Core2Duo 2.53ghz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4570
4gigs Memory
Realtek HD Audio

Oh and by the way I've tried all combinations of sound options, running under different versions of windows, administrator, and all of that, no luck. Again graphics- fine (although that may change when I can get into the game), music- fine, sound fx- fine, just no voice-over with skipping dialogue.

So, I ended up re-downloading the game off of D2D and it works, I feel kinda dumb not having done that before writing on the forum. Oh well, it works, for now hopefully I don't have any further problems.
