I play games for the story, not for an endless amount of fetch quests. I deal with enough idiots IRL, don't want to be forced to deal with them when playing games.
Not to mention you would no longer be a hero of any importance, lol, Yay! Your now one of 5000000 heroes of the shire, don't you feel special? You just like everyone else, and in no way unique, and at the end of the game, which there isn't one, you will have the same gear as everyone else, and have achieved the same thing, but instead that means nothing, because the big baddie respawns every hour!!!! Sooooo stupid, shouldn't even be called MMORPGs, there is nothing relevant to roleplaying in them anymore, so easy and stupid, made for the dumbed down masses.
Can we get a Dragon Age MMO after DA2?

Well I don't see how they can make a 3rd game where all the choices from Origins, Awakening and DA2 carry over. That's gonna be like 200 hours of gameplay with hundreds of decisions being made.
It's too much.
Then obviously it is impossible for them to create Mass Effect 3. Apparently their idea of a triliogy can no longer be completed due to your infallible logic.
And yet the same system of importing saves involving major decisions regarding Thedas still works.
Put Alistair on the throne? That gets imported into Dragon Age II. Let the Chantry fall into ruin? Alistair on the throne gets imported into Dragon Age III (because it was in your DA2 save) along with the destruction of the Chantry.
Makes perfect sense to me.

It does? My guild has 3 of them and is working on a fourth. Not to mention the countless other people in top guilds on my server running around with them.

It's a very epic beard........but no, there is no sense of individual achievement in mmos, and when there is its all about the loot, not the story, its.....just sad and degrading to the video game genre as an interactive medium imo. If you want shiny games with no story, I hear bejeweled and the wii are great for casual gamers >.>

I think you guys don't understand what a MMO is. MMOs can have storyline. Look at WoW's story for Wrath of the Lich King.
I don't mean to offend you but WoW is by far one of the worst examples in terms of story quality. Especially Wrath of the Lich King (two average cutscenes in an expansion doesn't make for a good storyline). Not that I have anything against the game, I proudly will admit I still play that game.
As much as I love DA and would love even more for it to be an MMO, it really doesn't stand up to the ToR MMO idea. Capitalising on the Star Wars fan base and not being "yet another medieval MMO" among other reasons puts it miles ahead in Bioware's minds.

Do you know how much staff you need to run an MMO?
Do you know how much effort is required to create the MMO?
Do you know how risky it is to make an MMO?

Because killing off main characters is tacky and should be avoided.....especially when they magically reincarnate every week, have no memory of thier death, and wait for you to kill them again. Why in any sensibility would that happen? And since when would we kill Flemeth....she saves our ass in DA2......I feel old.....I mean, am I the only one who thinks its stupid to "raid" main characters lol.....I feel like I should stop feeding it.........I'm gunna go back to the equality thread and **** there....atleast its not like talking to a brick wall.....sorta like the NPCs in an MMO
