Krogan. I feel sympathy for their plight, even though much like the Quarians I understand that this was something they brought on themselves, truth be told they did not deserve the horrible situation the genophage finds them in.

Plus, they are awesome. Strong and badass.

Humans, no question: Because my protagonist and my favorite LIs are all human. Can only be human. And because humanity's path into the future is the focus of the games.

After that, I like:
*Geth for their philosophy, their uniqueness and their backstory
*Quarians for their backstory
*Hanar because they're interesting non-humanoids. Also, their religion is fascinating (though bullsh*t)
*Salarians for an unexplainable fascination they evoke
*Batarians because they're the real underdogs. I shoot their slavers, but the species is interesting
*Drell because of their backstory
*Elcor because of their unique senses, and because they're one of the few non-humanoid species.

Species I don't care about either way:
*Turians.

Species I don't like:
*Asari. Blue-skinned space babes. Argh. Mystical inter-species mating. *head explodes*
*Krogan. The embodiment of the bully. I want more Genophage!

(I should mention I like individual asari like Aethyta and Liara. It's the species' concept I can't stand)

Turians, I hope we learn more about them, visit one of their worlds either a colony or Palaven itself. And you can't go wrong with blue babes who could be biotic commandos either. Frankly I like all the races, those two just stand out a little more, probably cause we've seen them the most.

i'll admit it, i am an absolute sucker for quarians; my FAVOURITE race? got to be the the salarians, funny,scrappy
litttle nerds. mordin sums it up: "thought i was harmless did you?"

Turians, I like the roman influences. Esp their military doctrine and society.

          bah..Humans are overrated.....i like a few people in this game like SHep,Ash/Kaidan,Joker and ANderson..and a few others
          come on...they are great as the bully..and some like Wrex look good while at that...Genophage seems the same as Genocide...they remind me of Klingons
