The website that hosted these files has disappeared. Does anyone out there happen to have a copy of this. I noticed that some folks have used the BCK for their projects so perhaps one of you downloaded the BCK documentation at some point in the past.
I would really appreciate a copy of it if you have it. Maybe one of the following folks:

Oh yeah...I remember a short doc about how to get things to bake correctly...is that what you need?

To be honest, I'm not sure what I need. I haven't seen the documentation so I don't know what I'm missing. But I'm working under the assumption that it contains some info I should know about when I'm using the BCK.

I didn't find anithing usefull for doc with BCK.
The tips I learned :
Never place your placeable manually : You set the number of the position and the orientation with the keyboard.
You don't build the BCK structure in your area. You build your area around the BCK structure.
You make your BCK on a flat floor, and then you scult the land.
The Walkmesh helper is of great help when you want to walk on it.

Thanks for the summary. That is helpful.
If you still have a copy, I would love to have it. And perhaps it could be reposted to the vault.

Sorry, I just checked but I never downloaded it. I think Shallina touched on all the major points, though I never needed walkmesh helpers once the other guidelines were followed. Entering in nice and even coordinates manually goes a long way in preserving your sanity. When something is in its rightful place, use the height and/or position lock properties!
Also, remember to turn as much as you can into environmental objects, leaving only the walkable pieces as placeables. Use no-walk terrain or walk mesh cutters for touch-up.
Have fun.

Thanks. Using the keyboard is probably the best tip one can get considering the insanity it could bring if not done. So I'm glad you both mentioned it.

No I've been about. Just didn't have anything worthy to say in response. You want I should move this to the toolset forums?

There is a 23-page PDF for Building Construction Set II that might be helpful. Nytir considers this the better of his Construction Kits with 800 more models. I keep meaning to look at them but never find the time. Some of it should apply to the earlier version as well.

Thanks. It was mainly focused on the BCK II but there were some good tips in it.

Or a mod with master placeables 2da where everything actually shows in toolset would make you worthy of much praise.

Did you see this?
http://nwvault.ign.c...ed.Detail&id=35
if that is kanybens work it should be similar.
My current placeables.2da works with that vault link http://dl.dropbox.co.../placeables.2da but the one kanyben is doing supersedes mine ( kanyben took my 2da values into account when doing the master 2da )

yeah Pain. I was under assumption that the combined BCKs 2da wasnt complete.
"The 2da information has rows only, i am working on a combined 2da for placeables and doortypes for easier use, especially if you are using more than one package. "
Is this no longer the case? If you fixed all of this and it works with master placeable 2da and all the appearances are right in the toolset....then where do i send my donation money?
