Just wondering why females need a seperate suit of armor for the sole purpose of showing their curves in ME? Combat armor should be unisex.

Please give a reason to add constructively to this discussion. I've noticed that modern body armor in the real world are unisex. Why is it different in ME?

No!!

It's actually nice to see different armor suits for both genders. Making it uni-sex would be an insult to some gamers.

I've brought up a legitimate issue. Please don't derail.

Ok, if you want a serious answer:

I really don't know, and I don't care. I don't view it as sexual at all.

Aren't you that same guy that said Males should be able to wear female clothes and vice versa? We really don't care at all.

Yes because they should be unisex. I really don't care myself since I always play male, but it may draw heat from feminists that females are sexualized in the game.

You already suggested gender changing and cross-dressing, now you want male armor for everyone.

Dude, you have a serious problem with sexuality!

No, the cross dressing suggestion was a seperate issue. More of a role playing one.

This thread suggestion is for verisimilitude.

You want to "role play" by changing your gender and cross-dressing.

Please, save what is left of your dignity and stop. Just stop.

Obviously, no feminist play mass effect, and if they do then they need to learn it's not 1869 anymore.

Believe me, if the issue was going to draw 'heat from feminists' you would know about it already.  This is a non-issue.  The armor shows the female form, but it does not in any way accentuate any part unnecessarily.  If anything, it masculinizes femShep's body shape.  It is not unduly flattering, and it is eminently practical.

Why, it's almost as if BioWare had hired someone to help design realistic combat armor.  Funny that.

I think the breast area is exaggerated in ME2 on some armors. On others, like the Kestrel chestpiece, and in ME1, the armor looks fine.

This isn't a big deal.

I cannot verify the seriousness of these suggestions, but the armor in Mass Effect is hardly as sexualized as say, armors in an Eastern MMORPG. If anything I'd consider them pretty conservative. They look different for M/F because it adds more visual variety.

If you do want to see "oversexualized," Go look up the Dark Elves from Lineage 2 or the Castanics from TERA Online.

I am a feminist and I wouldn't mind if the armor was sexier.

PS. Don't stereotype feminists. :)
