This might be basic, but it's something I have never had to do before. Can anyone tell me how to revert back to patch 1.03. I am running 1.04 and it destroyed my game. I am hoping I can avoid having to uninstall and reinstall the game.

There is no way around it. The patches are too completely integrated into the game structure to undo them. You will have to uninstall.
