I recently got a larger HDD and have been installing my most-played games. Has anybody had an issue with ME2 because of the 2 discs? It doesn't seem to be installing them together, it installs them as disc 1 and disc 2. So I'm assuming it'll still ask you to swap out at the same points, in which case you still have to put in the DVD to get it to play as there is no option to point it to the HDD...
Any experience with this?

Ive had that problem, I installed disc 2 to my harddrive hoping that I wouldnt need to swap discs but it still asks me to swap them.

Yes, you need to swap discs, for drm reasons I assume. But it's still worth it to install because of the reduced noise level.

And also because by installing the game, the console just use the disc for checking and the rest is loaded by the HDD so the disc doesnt work and will last longer

I had a similar question, i posted a thread but no one has responded yet. I was wondering if i have a cracked second disk(it still plays for now) and i install the game on my 360's hard drive will it still work when i switch the disks at certain points. like will it still read it? I guess i don't really understand why you have to put the disks in in the first place..some kind of checking if your an owner or something : /
