I am making a new area using the 1.69 Rural City/Castle tileset and I cannot get the drawbridge placed anywhere. It always shows up as unplaceable.
The only thing I haven't tried is to have the sea cliffs on both sides of the drawbridge.
Anybody know how to place it?

What you need is a lake/moat on one side and a line of castle (low castle worked for me) on the other side. I think that there has to be city ground behind that. Then it should work.

All you need is the castle and the moat. No need to place the city portion, just tried it. Took me a few tries to get it right.
