I'm still waiting on my shipment from Bioware store. When I ordered the figures large and above were the only items left. I wish they would post a series two set with Alistair, Zevran, Leianna and Wynn or Sten.

Bought the genlock and Morrigan. They were the best of the bunch, and look the best with the rest of my collection (NECA/McFarlane fantasy-based figures).



The genlock looks great. Morrigan is passable, but it would have been nice if she were sculpted based off of the in game look, and not the concept art. The unpainted skin (bare plastic) on both of those two is off-putting though.



Loghain and Duncan look terrible though, and were an easy pass. Duncan doesn't even come with both of his weapons.

Well, I've got the knack. Just this morning I had this "where's my stuff" sook, and at lunchtime it arrived!!
My apologies.

(If only I could do this sort of thing with a lottery win...)

Got 'em yesterday. Need to open up but Duncan and the Genlock look the best overall. Might have to do some paint touch ups on Loghain and Morrigan to get them more realistically flesh toned but I'm really glad to have picked 'em up.

I just hope EA/Bioware picks NECA to do any future figures. My DS2 Isaac Clarke is INCREDIBLE!

And stopped at Morrigan. Removed the twist ties from her torso and legs and then lifted her from the plastic tray and her little leg falls loose on to the table. *tears*

Oh that made me giggle, poor fellow. I'd be raving mad if that happened to me, I'm almost afraid to ask how much you spent on it. I'd suggest investing in superglue...but that never looks very nice unless you can apply it with the discression of a rogue.

Well I paid 75 for the whole set, then 10 bucks shipping. Then I repaired Morrigan and bought a second one to display with the other 3 DAO figure, and the pictured "broken one" I repaired is now fodder for a custom Morrigan.

I dunno Morrigan's face is just too ... I dunno "young" not so "angry" lookin'... severe is the word I'm looking for. Loghain's face looks more like Howes. Duncan is spot on though. His beard alone is an action feature. And the Genlock is a Genlock, can't get those wrong.

I might actually buy an Alistair figure, especially if he was wearing his armor from Awakening. Leliana/Oghren/Anders/Nathaniel would also have my interest.

There is no morals, especially with Morrigan involved, just that out of all my DC Direct figures i've purchased (new) I've had 3 of like 5 have their leg bust off at the knee.

I saw that some of the people posting on this thread had trouble with their pre-orders getting canceled and then they missed the (brief) DC Direct window. Instead of putting in pre-orders online you should try doing it with a comic store, preferably a little mom-and-pop one. Comic guys know what's going on with DC Direct status so they can tell you if something is delayed. I put my pre-order in for the ME2 figures like a year ago, and not only did they give me an awesome discount (plus you don't have to pay for shipping), they were there waiting for me on release day.

Also I heard that BioWare wasn't going with DC Direct anymore for the rest of their figures because of all the delays?

Well my Tali figure didn't have any serious problems. She had a few stuck joints (both elbows, her waist), but 30 minutes in the freezer fixed that. (For those that don't know about the freezer trick. Step 1. Don't wet the figure before hand, put your figure in there dry. Step 2. wait 30 minutes for them to get all nice and cold, this allows any soft plastic parts to get a bit tougher and lets the paint lose its stickyness. step 3. slowly try to flex or twist the stuck points of articulation. step 4. repeat steps 1-3 if still stuck.)
