I have played a ton of XBOX games and never had this problem.  I payed full price brand new for dragon age when it first came out.  Recently, the disk cracked from the center...  maybe a half an inch but enough to make it unplayable.  I assumed it was my fault and I had somehow been careless and cracked it.  Which has never happened before I take great care of my games.  So I wrote it off as a fluke.  I went out and got the game again.  It played great for 2 weeks and it cracked again.  Can someone tell me what's going on?  Since it happened once I took extra care to put it in the case, etc.  What would cause it a second time?  Is there anything I can do to get a playable disk after PURCHASING IT TWICE?  I appreciate any help, I am really frustrated and if I can't get a fix I am done with this game and any other game bioware puts out in the future...  if the disk is going to be unreliable why would I want to buy any of their products.  Thanks.

Bioware has nothing to do with the disks, it's probably your Xbox.

Install it to your hard drive. No more disk movement.

Also it might be worth your time in seeing if this isn't strictly your Xbox. It'd suck if you happened to ruin any other games you know and love. Perhaps you could take it in to a game store, see if its covered under warranty, check out xbox support forums, ask around online, look for others with similar issues, or maybe as a last resort call the support number for microsoft (probably a waste of time though).

Personally I really don't trust the 360's, they are very poorly made. Mine ate two disks (scratched didn't crack them) and one was my beloved Mass Effect 1 game. Next system I buy is going to be a Playstation unless Microsoft buys up all the contracts to good games out there. *Crosses fingers*

You know that warranty at the back of your Dragon Age booklet you've never read? READ IT!
