Anyway, leather pants of doom and codpiece of doom sounds like a set, with the bonus of being able to summon nutella.

Garrett Hawke seems pretty awesome. I'm tempted to leave his face alone and play as him. But...I probably won't. I'll play That Guy when I have to (Adam Jensen in the upcoming Deus Ex prequel, for instance), but given the option between My Guy/Girl and That Guy/Girl, I go with My Guy/Girl every time.

That seems so ironic as sheploo was actually based off a real person....

Alright, I've been looking at the trailer more and more and I'm really debating on if Garret is advertised as a Warrior or a Mage. While he obviously casts magic, they all tend to be surrounding fire or some red mist thing concentrated on his glove / weapon (who has a glowing orb at the end).

He might be a Warrior who's using some blood magic relics of some kind or he might just be a blood mage / mage. What do you guys think?

Honestly, I think he's either an arcane warrior, or a class hybrid created by the company who made trailer (Blur, I think someone called it) to show-off that he can be either a master of melee or magic. I don't really think there's something special about the arm...maybe I'm wrong, but he just seems to be using blood magic.

I also think he's a mage because the move he uses to finish off the Qunari seems loosely based off a description I read of the new crushing prison finishing move...I believe it involved a giant hand.

I'm more confused as to what the Qunari used to counter Hawke's magic. Maybe Templar-esque powers?

That is pretty adorable. I remember when I was first playing DA:O, my husband went from "Alistair is a decent character and my tank, and I enjoy having him in my party" to "I hate that stupid little ******!" in about a day and a half.

So silly. Probably a good thing I can't play as FemHawke and romance . . . myself.
