You don't want to hear that Canadian accent eh?

I don't mind it :P I'd just find it creepy if my Hawke sounded like my Shepard. I'd rather have them separate.

That's why I'm relly happy that at least for MaleHawke it will be someone from Origins.

Oh! And I have a bit of info that some people may find interesting: A friend of mine was at the Comic Con in German, since our country isn't that far from it. He's just returned a few hours ago and I had him answer some questions. When I asked him if Hawke's voice sounded more like Cailan or Vaughan, he went with the second one. Acording to him, it was a little bit deeper than Cailan's, but then again, we can't forget that Bramhill's an actor, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was beacuse he simply changed his voice to fit the character.

Either way, I too hope that Bioware won't keep us guessing for too long. ;)

I know it won't be the same people for both roles but Meer was in Origins.

Yep. The one time I played an elf, I picked the "experienced" voice because it was Meer.

After
listening/reading the blather in the "Female Hawke" thread, I needed to
come in here for a rejuvinating dose of man.

I believe Garrett has more fangirls than fanboys.

If LadyHawke asked me to make her a Nutella sandwich I wouldn't say no either. Anyone who gots beef with her, expect to have your ankles bitten by an angry dwarf.

I've got beef for her, though.

For the sandwich.

Hey, I know this is not the thread, and I would not do this under normal circumstances, but I crave the knowledge to mod a Conan O'Brien hairdo. Whoever can help me in this quest will earn ten thousand ruples.

I had just read some posts there as well. Then I read that if it doesn't matter much to me whether BioWare shows FemHawke before release date then I should leave and go to the Garret Hawke thread because I am not wanted there. All I need is Hawke and nutella.

Welcome, we're essentially becoming a bar now. The women come here and drool over the pictures of a band we're advertising, the men come here after they get kicked out by the women and we're all drunk. *hic*

We just need some Hawke and his nutella there and it'd be just like home.

Hey, why's it so wrong for girls to want to see other girls being used in advertising (and not as sex objects clinging to a male hero)?

WHATEVER. I support Hawke, since Lady and Man Hawkes are the same person anyway.

In that case, I make the dodgy pies and other dangerous(ly tasty) culinary delights. Although to be honest most people in this thread just keep asking for jars of Nutella.

Nutella pizza for me, thanks.

I'm honestly all up for Female Hawke, although advertisement tends to always focus on sex appeal when it comes to female heroes. Lara Croft is pretty much a sex symbole for gamers now and RPGs tend to make women with breasts the size of mountains. This isn't an argument against it, just saying this. Don't hurt me, Yuki. :( *cowers*

That's pretty much it.

...Though I did see a screenshot and it looked like the graphics weren't the only things to get "upgraded".

Wow, It really does go with anything doesn't it? I'm wondering if anyone will go for the Nutella Admiral's Pie though, that one is an aquired taste.

Careful. You might lose your beard to her, too. Third time's the charm and before you know it, Beard-be-gone!

But yeah. I've heard many people say it sounded deeper than Cailan's. Cailan can be fairly deep and he is an actor, but my bet is on Vaughan, just because his voice actor just seems to fit. Cailan could fit just as well, too, but yeah. I've also heard on the impressions someone else also believes it's Vaughan when they played the demo.

As well, just a fun little note; the actors in DA2 are very british sounding, according to someone who did in fact play the demo. He didn't say who they sounded like or anything but well, food for thought!

Also, nutella pizza sounds good. That awesome home looks good. And I say we should make it our PERMANENT dwelling house/bar area, where we all hang out. and be weird, with lots of nutella going around..

..and maybe a yuki reppellent for Dave. That or a beard-protector.

Oh! Now I remember one of the games with the super-breasts for an example. Magna Carta 2 is this one small JRPG that has a twelve year old.. with breasts the size of mountains. I couldn't even borrow the game from my friend without feeling dirty because of the cover.

Actually. I agree with you, which is why most of us ladies asking for female Hawke think it would be awesome for BioWare to show her off too. You know, make her look just as badass and cool as Garrett without making her half naked and writhing on his lap or something.
