My money is on Vaughan. Hopefully he won't sound like a rabid psychotic rapist with ugly eyebrows. (if my guess is correct)

To get back ontopic after so much weirdness, if you had to create a romance interest for Hawke (both genders) what would you create?
Hm ... if m!Hawke is a warrior (like I am going to make him) then his LI would be something that would be sort of an opposite (like my husband and I are). m!Hawke would be focused, quiet, sort of a perfectionist, and takes pride in his work. His LI on the other hand is outgoing, clumsy, kinda sloppy and reckless. Might be good as a mage type who enjoys experiments and the like and who is prone to blowing herself up alot.
For f!Hawke, I'd see her as a rogue and her LI as a warrior type ... Bann Teagan comes to mind .... an older man with status who has decided since he has no wife of children to go home to, follows f!Hawke.
Both would be human.

I assume we're going to get a little more information when PAX starts.
So, uh, what would you like them to reveal about Hawke and/or DA2 at PAX?
*cue a bunch of "Hawke's VA!" posts*
Definately his VA, but I'd also like to see a bit of the discussion wheel and how it works.

Possibly. More likely to be tears of "WHY MEEEE!"
On a serious note, though, what do people reckon will happen to all the Hawke discussions once the companions start being announced? Do you think all the Hawke fans will attach themselves to the various NPCs, or will the fan club maintain itself? Its just, as much as e can discuss Hawke s/he's still going to be our character, whereas the NPCs will have certain personalities that we can stalk/relate/attach ourselves to.
Good question.
I think it might be different here since in DAO the pc could be anything while we went with the companions having personalities. I would have to see each one on their own though I have a feeling I"d stick with m!Hawke.
Now if they made an older companion that would be perfect for my f!Hawke runthough I'd be all over him.

I want McTavish (Eamon), but I'd be more than happy with Vaughn's VA, what's his name BTW?

Trian? Bhelen? Rendon Howe?

No, I'm not particularly fond of that character. I generally have my PC take his key and leave him locked up in the dungeon (or kill him if I'm in a bad mood). WTB Bann Teagan instead!!!! Sadly that "unpopular character" thing immediately means Teagan is totally out.

Howe maybe, I'd love to play an SOB, complete bastard Hawke voiced by Tim Curry, other two were American VA's which I think would rule them out, although if it had to be a non British actor to voice Hawke it would definitely be Michael Wincott for me.

Though he mightn't do sounding like Vaughn at all, didn't David Gaider say something about the actor having alot of range? I can't remember.

Unless the actor does something different with his voice I think I might have trouble playing a hawke with Vaughn's voice.

Boulton already has a great range in Origins, though. He does Byrant and Helpful Refugee.

Curry can only play Villains. As soon as I hear him play a role, I assume it's a villain and it never proves me wrong.

However that said, I'd like to see Tim Curry, playing a character called Tim Curry who owned a villainous curry shop.

Hello--haven't posted here before, but I would just like everyone to know that as I reached into the fridge, grabbed some strawberries and then had the brilliant idea to eat them with Nutella, I immediately thought of Garrett Hawke. That is all.
I did the same with lamb chops, your's probably turned out better though
