I was thinking about Hawke's body (not in THIS way... ok, this way too), and you guys think it suits a Mage? Don't look, let's say, "tradicional", but don't look really impossible too me. I would, however, like to *sigh* change is body type to a smaller one if I was doing a mage...
Well, maybe he did a lot of manual labor around Lothering? I dunno if they're farmers or what, but he was probably working since he was young... or something. I dunno how it works in DA.
I don't know. Working in a farm don't usually give you this type of body. If I have to guess I would say that he is trained in combat?

Sure! I got you a gift too--it is also a cookie. See? It looks exactly like thoe one you handed me. You first. :innocent:
How come a mage can't also be buff? I wonder if the character generator will allow us to adjust body type this time.
Also, the Qunari's magic roar wasn't the reason Hawke started to suck--it was simply an ill-timed hair flip. Worth it? YES.

Hmm. I dunno. I have a lot of family that are farmers (not big farms, so a lot is done manually) and a lot of the men are pretty muscular since they're in the field a lot swinging around scythes and machetes and the like to harvest crops and doing other physical work around the farm. They're not bodybuilders by any means, but Hawke doesn't seem to be super meaty either.

Damn it.
Well, to be fair, all mages in DA: O have the same body as Alistair, they just use a robe. And the roar can be something that make the enemy dizzy?

Hmm, I live in a city near to a lot of farms, but I can't say this make my day any happy, no. In fact, I would say they are quite skinny. However, I live in a region, let's say, a little poor. And hot. I suppose that have a farm is not the better way to eat right here.
Anyway, I'll stick with the farm-boy theory for now, then. I mean, Superman lived in a farm and he is not skinny, at all.
Edit: some type errors.

So he's a... a farmboy now too? Oh god. Oh god. Someone get him a cowboy hat for his pants, pronto. I'm having a meltdown over here. <3

Now I just need to decide which Garrett is more adorable, Hawke, or the guy in Thief: Dark Project...

Well, I see "cowboys" quite a bit, then I can't say a Cowboy Hawke would make my live sunnier.
Let's just cosplay him of a naked man. Aways work.

Also, for the first time, I'm inclined to keep male Hawke's default name and appearance in spite of available customization.

One clear aspect of why everybody`s so excited is "the presence" of Hawke in the trailer, how he moves, etc. kinda looks as he would jump out of the screen... The Qunari too, and that goes without saying, when your antagonist is nearly as awesome as you are, well you shine more at what you do, of course-.
Bioware has stated that the "new look" they were trying to acomplish came from two main sources, the Japanese movie "Throne of Blood" and a 17th Century painting called "The triumph of Death". Well I know them both well and I dont see anything from there in the trailer. Howewer, much of that sheer savagery and testosterone flowing that everybodys so excited about, I find comes from Frazetta influences. What strikes me is that nobody has made a point of it already, except me and 2 other dudes in the forum. I'll post some of his work so you can share your thoughts about it...

Last but not least, the "Frazzetta girls", those hot women that you-dont-want-to-mess-with, a glimpse of that we saw I think with that sultry pirate on the dock

And who doesnt see some resemblance to Flemeth here...?

Y'know, I really thought I'd end up hating the male lead... Not just because they're not showing Lady Hawke, but because he would be fugly. Like this guy?
