There have been a lot of requests for us to re-release lithographs. As you know we will not release any limited edition signed Lithographs after they are sold out. However, we're looking at options for using the artwork in a way that is different enough from the original release, but still captures the beauty of the artwork.
One option that we are considering is creating mini 13x19 lithograph packs, four mini-lithographs per pack, not signed or numbers, that will feature the original artwork. We want to be respectful of the collectors who have purchased the limited edition Lithographs while still offering people a chance to purchase the artwork.
This is just an idea that we're kicking around at the moment. Let us know your thoughts.

I'm not sure whether I like the idea or not, BUT, I just paid an arm (and a leg) for a Citadel print. That's probably clouding my judgement a bit. I'd really love to see the art released as wallpapers though. As of now, the only piece online that's directly comparable to the lithos is the Citadel.

as a collector and owner of all current lithos I personally don't see an issue with mini versions especially if they are not signed and numbered. Though I also liked the idea of wall scrolls some forum members have been kicking around

I own several of them, ordered directly from the store and won during the Bazaar. I'm fine with this idea as it will be perfectly clear by their size alone that they aren't part of the original collector's editions, and I'm all for supporting the artists.
On that note, can we get a full-sized artbook like the original Mass Effect had please?

I also own the lithographs, and I'm fine with minis. I'd buy them just for additional copies of the artwork to display in my office. I also don't see it cheapening the limited prints. I vote yes.

I think it is a great idea, if anything I think the presence of mini-prints might even make the real size ones more sought after. Once people get a taste for cheap, they might just want the real thing. If that sounds like something a drug dealer would say, sorry.

No issue at all as long as they aren't signed/numbered. I would encourage this, as I doubt I'll ever spend the cash necessary to get a Illium or Citadel.

I'm fine with that as well. Only thing I might be concerned is the quality of it. The material/paint/detail can't be too cheap but I don't think it should not be higher quality than the actual limited lithos either. It might be tough to find a balance.

wooo i wouldn't mind that! as long as it doesn't have the signature and isn't as big/iconic as the original lithographs. perhaps just a printed name of the artist somewhere(norm/sml font, crediting the artist)
another idea i'll just throw out there, something like a greyscale image. i'm not sure if it would work/look as good/contrasted though....... its usually used with natural photographs.... : \\
eg 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |

I have no real problem with it. It would actually create an outlet for the people who are just looking for a nice non-character poster to tack up on their wall. However, to help with that outlet, I suggest selling the mini's of the lithos at the same time that the limited edition lithos are being sold. We can always do a catch up on lithos that have been sold already, but this way there will be no one who didn't know that it was an option at the time of purchasing.

I like the mini lithos idea, proposed it in the lithos thread a few days ago actually so I'm happy about this. But why sell them in packs? Many guys and girls here already have atleast one litho, getting the same image again doesn't make sense to me.

Hopefully they will allow you to choose exactly which ones you get in each pack.

Really depends on the cost of 1 pack aswell, if were talking $20 each so $80 total its going too be a hard sell if you can't atleast choose which 4 you want. Should do like you've done with the posters and sell them seperately but have a package deal for a pack of 4.

I happen to have all of the ME2 lithographs and I don’t mind them being reprinted as unnumbered, unsigned mini-lithographs. However I must politely demand a Tali lithograph be made!

Hopefully that will be the next one. Jedi posted something about it a while back!

I'll probably wind up re-buying all my originals in mini-form anyway, just so I can have both.

Reprint of the Mass Effect 1 artbook? I already have that. I want an ME2 artbook. A big one. I already have the little collector's one...

Wasn't sure about the size initially; read 13x19 and my mind just said "Blargh?" ^^U Had to go pull out a measuring tape, and decided to compare those numbers to the listed numbers for the standard lithographs. That said, holy crap. I didn't realize just how big the actual lithos are until now, and it seems I'd actually mentally been picturing them as smaller than even these mini ones would be. >>;;
That aside, though, I then have to say I -love- this idea. Hopefully they'd be made approximately the same way, so they're the same high quality prints, just smaller. Also, I personally would like to see them include a signature, though not done by hand; rather, have the artist sign one of the proofs, or...do whatever you would need to do to be able to have the signature replicated digitally during the printing process. Not only would this directly credit the artist, it would also look cool, simply put, and, since it's not signed by hand, it shouldn't devalue the original full size lithos much. I understand some would disagree on this point, however, and it's certainly open to debate; I'd honestly be happy either way.
(Really, my only problem with it now is, if I do still manage to acquire a Normandy, I'd probably feel compelled to still try to obtain a full size Citadel print somewhere then, too... XD)
EDIT: Knew I was forgetting something. Pricing and that. I'd rather they not be random packs, unless they're unusually inexpensive. If each pack is going to be a significant price, I'd want to be able to know beforehand exactly what I'm paying for. That said, I'm thinking there's at least three ways they could be organized: sell them in customizable packs (four of your choice), have a couple preset packs (an example being, say, a "Space" pack, which would include Citadel, Minuteman, Normandy, and Omega [would've said "Station," but the Normandy's a ship, so... Hopefully you get the idea); or just have them available individually. Mind you, though, I'm not crazy about that second option; just threw it in because I could see it being a possibility. I think the other two could both be employed, though; you'd get a bit of a discount if you order them as a pack rather than individually.
Now, pricing... 13x19 is still a notable size... I could potentially see $15, $20 for an individual piece being reasonable. So, for a pack of four... I'd probably be okay with a point around $60. $80, maybe, but I think that'd be stretching it a bit, and any higher than that I'd probably pass on unless there were four I really, really, wanted.

Yeah, I don't know about the packs idea...but I definitely like the idea of "mini" lithos. I've passed over several because I felt like I should leave some for other people, since I already have 3 ME2 ones and 2 DA. I would love to have the ENTIRE collection of the mini-lithos. Price, however, would be something that holds me back...so long as it's reasonable I'd be happy.
