Evil genius. He's making me laugh with the reactions of the people yelling at the cost of my own misery.

He probably has the time of his life, though... reading that feedback and all.

We are at gamescom with hands-on access  to DA2. The lineups are huge and if you are here and want to jump to the front of the line you need to message me (dlarke) with your first and lastname. We are only taking the first 20 names for the entire day. If you are watching our twitter feed (twitter.com/dragonage) there may be more opportunities to jump the line and grab free swag!

Is Gamescom located in a High school or something? Why does almost everyone have a backpack with them? Is this the fashion in Germany or something?

You may be onto something here; at the moment the camera is shaking like a rage demon or smth is trying to possess it.

edit: a dramatic, new angle.

I have an idea, If you guys can find any English speaking people playing the demo and bring the camera to them after they are done and ask them what they thought of the game.

Okay we are back to the angle they had it at originally. I can't say that is a paritcularly good thing as that camera angle makes it hard to really see anything. Previously I accepted that they had given us the best position they could, but now that we've seen they could tilt the camera a little to the left and give us a clear look at one screen while still being able to see all the fans in the room (what we are missing) is kind of annoying to be honest.

Maybe it was all the people asking for zoom that made them choose this angle, but it was the one they started off with as well so...

It's just an event thing. Those places get really freaking hot inside, and often people are there from far away or for the whole day etc. Just common sense to pack a few essentials in a bag.

Ok seriously, are we going to get to see anything we'd expect to see at Gamescom?

Like an interview or some gameplay or something?

Watching umpteen people play the game from ten metres away doesn't really do anything for me.

Interviews and a new info are coming after the weekend is over. Be patient.

In case you missed it back when you were avoiding those spoilers Dave, David Gaider pointedly said that, that particular outcome wouldn't happen on every playthrough. There is still a big degree of unknown about what might happen there!

You were always running the risk of getting partly spoiled though, I caught one of the deaths on someones screen earlier. :pinched:

So do we still not have any gameplay videos of this game yet? Off screen or otherwise? I've been watching Guild Wars 2 videos all day.

Laidlaw went on stage but the camera cut off and came back on with disco music and people getting stuff in the crowd. The cameraguy then walked over to the dragon age booth and put on a stand.

We got the camera to focus a little bit on a screen and we got to see the game in action for a little bit from a distance. People were crying for the camera guy to zoom the camera and each time they did so, he moved the camera. People then started saying they'd track down and beat up the camera guy so the camera was played with a lot more until we couldn't see anything.

More people threatened him and the camera was put in a spot where we couldn't see anything (focused on the wall) and more people started crying. Afterwards he tilted the camera to the side where we couldn't see any of the screens except for half of one and then it stayed there until the end.
