Also the reason Duncan had a beard, right?

And we've associated tough, manly men with Spartans for years. Even if we're wrong about a lot of things about them, the only reason the movie--I should say, the comics--was created that way was because of preconceptions.

And we've associated tough, manly men with Spartans for years. Even if we're wrong about a lot of things about them, the only reason the movie--I should say, the comics--was created that way was because of preconceptions.

Honestly, Duncan seems to bear a bit more of resemblance--but I wouldn't say either even remotely look like Leonidas. Duncan is just older.

I have always wanted to mention the Asian-ness but have feared ppl may bash me (I am in the Aang Ain't White club)... I thought that CG Hawke looked pretty underneath the beard...

It's kinda weird, but maybe they felt lots of people were being left out so they put it up out of the kindness of their hearts?

That would be nice if they actually showed something worthwhile. However, seeing people pose with the latex sword and crowds milling by, or people standing in front of computers playing the game (and not even showing the game itself because it's too far away) feels more like twisting the knife in the wound. :|
