I was on vacation and without Internet access for more then 2 weeks and now I can't find Tali support thread.
My guess is that was closed for spam( again) but why there isn't new one?
I'm pretty confused.

The people on this forum are too easily goaded into flame wars, especially where fanaticism is involved. They have no semblance of self-control, and end up getting potentially good threads deleted.

Pretty much this. Not only on this forum, either; I've seen this sort of thing happen on multiple others.

Did my best to show up when I had the time and keep the thread on-topic, but based on the daily postcount increase, the thread was receiving a post every ~12 minutes. Couldn't keep up with the whole thing, although I admit I usually just abandoned ship when things turned to complete spam. Definitely some good topics in the V2 thread, but they were too easily destroyed by the influx of spam.

I don't like Miranda aswell, but I don't harass her fans.

Hating a character because mostly of it's popular fanbase is lame and non-productive.

I moderated a small forum for two years, and after that can say I'd have done the same as Woo. Assuming a mod actually spends time off of the internet and has a life and whatnot, it's a pretty large time sacrifice to try to "weed out" the sources of the problem buried so deep in spam, rather than just go scorched earth and eliminate the whole thing altogether. I support the thread personally, but if I had to mod that thing and keep it on-topic...man, it would be a pain. Don't forget that he has plenty of other threads and boards to keep an eye on.

Eventually, yes, but not very soon. (Possibly it'll take 'till ME2 gets released for the PS3)
And considering most of the fans are now spread amongst Clan Zorah and the Tali'Zorah Foundation, it'll do even more to fragment the fanbase. So most of us aren't really putting any effort into convincing him anymore.

True, though it isn't hard to antagonise yourself when you claim to have only checked the last couple of pages then proceed to stereotype all the fans as spammers and use that as an excuse to lock it.

Oh well, I actually rather like our new group, considering we can moderate it ourselves, no need to worry about trolls there. (And seperate threads make discussing things that much easier. That's not to say the main thread hasn't already reached over a 1000 pages, though.)

lol cmon he really doesn't have to police that board

Why not just let the trolls and spammers attack the Talimancers. They will be engaged in a giant war, that will attract the trolls and Talimancers into a single concentrated thread, no need to surf around the forums as the moral police, just let all the troublemakers concentrate in one specific area
