my game keeps freezing after or during the archdemon fight i am running a xbox 360 arcade with a 120gb hard drive and all the freezes seem to have came after i downloaded shale and return to ostagar so i dont know if that could be a problem but im currently clearing my cache and re downloading all my content i have already completed the game twice . the first freeze happened when i was on shales quest to find himself now im consistently freezing on the last boss if not during at the very end of the game if someone could plz address this issue i would be greatful

well good news i finally beat the archdemon for my 3rd time i reloaded to an earlier save and it played through maybe my save was corrupted who knows

Well that is good to hear. Nothing like a game ending glitch at the end to ruin a good day!

I'm having the same problem. Can't finish the game because of it.

Same here, for me it happens without fail about halfway through the battle.

EDIT: I may have solved the problem.  I think the autosave at the rooftop is corrupted.  I simply loaded my save right before I went onto the roof and I completed the game just fine.

I will give that a go, as currently all loads from autosave cause crashing at around Archdemon 50% health

It has done it a Few times for me too, What you have to do is keep your Visible spells to a minimum Try to avoid storm of the Century and such as the combined with archdemon and all the darkspawn make the game really laggy

I found out on another website the autosave is corrupt do a save before you fight the arch demon and if you die or it freezes you can load that save and it doesn't freeze up again....happened to me on my mage character in a different place and doing this solved it there also. Good luck and enjoy everyone I was able to beat the game with my warrior now I'm playing as a mage and about to beat it again...love this game !!

How am i to go onto Awakening if I can't finish this game due to glitches before DA2 comes out I wanna know why everyone is squee over anders

I found out what is wrong. The Auto-save feature for the rooftop battle gets corrupt. If you load from the autosave it WILL glitch. Save right before you go outside and play from that file. It wont glitch that way.
