While we're at gamescom, we're giving fans another chance at a limited number of codes for an Epic In-Game Weapon for Dragon Age 2. You can only enter at http://dragonage.bioware.com/ by hitting the "Like" button on the page and then sign-up for the Dragon Age 2 newsletter. If you've already done this, you're already entered! You can sign-up through August 22. Codes will be delivered via email in September.

My problem is I liked Dragon Age 2 on facebook before this offer came up, so I can't like it now in order to get the newsletter sign-up page. Any idea how to fix this, Victor? I love Dragon Age and I'd really like a chance to win that item, if it's all the same. Any help would be appreciated.

I've liked it but the signup doesn't appear. I did signup for the newsletter the day the trailer was released without liking it with fb, but I haven't gotten any newsletter yet.

It appears as though we might be in a predicament, Roth...

I feel your pain, my friend.

Is there a problem with the "Like" button or something? Because whenever I click it it isn't registering that I clicked it.

I signed up on the official website and it said I'd been added, but I'm not on Facebook. Can I still get the ... whatever the shiny thing is?

So when the trailer first came out there was the option to signed up for the newsletter, I tried doing this but every time I did it, it would come up saying site not found or error or something. Now with this, I had already liked it at an earlier time before this offer and so nothing is coming up for me to sign up for the news letter, so does this mean I am already signed up or is there something else I can do to sign up?

So, for all the people who don't use Facebook...if you want this item, you need to sign up for a Facebook account. Its not hard, just create a Facebook account, use a fake name if you want, it doesn't matter.

And for those who already "Like" DA2, just hit the "Unlike" button and then re-hit the "Like" button, that should work.

They did the same thing with comic-con and Chris or Victor, can't remember which, specifcally stated you just need sign up to the newsletter, facebook wasn't necessary.

EDIT: Hopefully it will be the same this time around!

I gave it a shot as well, no such luck. Any other ideas for a possible fix?

Also, has there already been an issue of the newsletter we should have all received, or has Bioware just not released one yet?

I love you guys, but this is driving me crazy.

For some of us who don't use Facebook we have reasons we don't.
Making a "fake" account to do so might go against those reasons.

Ah well, it's a very minor thing, but one more item in the pile of "crap I don't like."

Some people got one, some people didn't. I didn't get one yet.

Nevermind, I found a way around it. I unliked and then liked the page, then googled the Dragon Age Newsletter and it was among the first results. Signed up and got my confirmation e-mail right away. I don't know if the unlike and like process is necessary, but I went through with that bit anyway because I want my items.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a loot ****.

The video I saw said only to register for the newsletter said nothing about "liking" DA2 through crapbook.

Well that is one "exclusive" I will never use.

Thanks for lying to me in that video Biocrap.

If those reasons for not making a Facebook account override your decision to get this item, then thats your choice.

And if the Facebook thing isn't required, I'm not sure.
