Yes, the codes will work on PC, Xbox 360 or PS3.
If you do not see the newsletter sign up box, you have signed up for the newsletter previously. YOu will still get the item.

Did that Ctrl-F5, didn't work. Loaded page in IE8 instead of Firefox and it was there. Thanks for the opportunity Bioware, but please test it in all browsers.MaxQuartiroli wrote...

Can't see a newsletter link either, there is nothing above the strider picture.
Did you try to empty the cache of your browser before go to that page?

This happened before, as well. Forgive me for saying this, but Bioware is probably intentionally misinforming us initially to get more facebook hits.Chris Priestly wrote...
Ok, we do hear you that some of you do not want to register for Facebook just for the item, no matter how cool it is.
As such, we will extend the offer to those of you here without Facebook accounts. If you go to the Dragon Age site here: http://dragonage.bioware.com/ and sign up for the newsletter (which, sine you are DA fans anyways, I hope you all do even without the cool item reward) you will get the in game item.

Oh, so there is another way to use the official forums for ME and DAO and buy/redeem codes for BW points and DLCs?Chris Priestly wrote...

I'm sorry but no item is worth registering an account in a social network.
Umm... you know that you have an account in THIS Social network, right?
Just sayin'

Seconded, test in all browser. The problem seems to be varied, though. While Firefox fixed the problem for you, it was the opposite for me. I had to switch from FF to Explorer in order to get the signup to appear.
Edit: Forget what I said. Managed to get things a bit mixed up somewhow... Apparently Firefox is the problem.

That is because it stores your cookie, not your cache, so it is NOT browser based (we do check these things). But glad it now worked for you.

Done. Not like I mind receving the updates anyway, though, of course, doing so will drive me into an idiotic frenzy about 2 months before release, just like last time. Curse you Bioware, you're the only company that makes games that turn me into a fanboy.

Long way to go though, people love posting pictures of their babies and FB is all about that. Someday we will win and stop corporate privacy invasion!

So, I signed up for the newsletter last time and haven't gotten anything in my email related to dragon age 2 at all.The newsletter signup thing isn't there so I assume I'm signed up for it. Is this normal? (And no, before you ask, there's nothing in my junk folders.)
Same here. Any info would be helpful.

Are any of you using MSN Hotmail? I'm using it and I haven't recieved anything either. Admittedly, it's a complete shot in the dark, but I'm trying to figure out if I should consider that a problem.

You can add me to the list as well though I'm using Yahoo Mail. I registered for this when it was first announced and never received anything. I re-registered again when this was announced again (and when people had mentioned they were receiving the newsletter) and still nothing. Haven't received anything in the spam folder either (I keep looking) so I'm not sure if I am on there or not (I'd like to think so since I received other offers like who I'd want to go with me in ME2 and announcements of sales but nothing DA2).
Thanks.
