darkspawn chronicles was just an add-on.. it was a what-if scenario, not a whole game. 

i don't think they're rushing it. however, if they realize that they would not make the deadline, they would just extend it. they're more likely to do that rather than release a crap game. they have done it before with RTO.

The way I see it is.If DA 2 sucks I will have Fable 3 and Fallout New Vegas to play.


sydranark  - I was talking about how the dlc was horrible.


Dave of Canada  - There was nothing to it.It was all combat and the Arch Demon didn't deven speak.

Someone has nothing better to do with there time since you had to correct a minor grammar mistake.

no it just really annoys me, especially after taking two college classes that we spent and entire class period each discussing this... i was headdesking throughout the entire thing and the guy next to me who didn't understand anything in that lecture wasn't helping...

And we've read so many comments that DA:O will suck and it actually turned out to be outstanding.  No worries, you will probably be here after DA2 is released saying the same thing about DA3.

I have to admit to being worried that DA2 might be getting rushed in it's development. A game should never be rushed out, if they need to delay the game for a while then that's fine with me as long as the game is working beautifully once released.

Awakening was rushed. DA2 seems to have been planned for quite a while, perhaps before Awakening was complete. I don't see it as rushing for that reason. Also, their being too ambitious with the framed narrative idea to doubt their ability in putting the game out in time

Well, BioWare has not let me down before... so I assume they know what they are doing and the game will be fine.

I liked all the DLC before Awakening.At least Awakening had some plot even though some of Origins features were missing.

Fingers crossed. EA are bad for rushing games out, a lot of publishers and developers are.



Hopefully DA2 will be a shining example of a sequel, instead of a rushed, glitch filled mess.

DA2 was in devlopment right after the PC version was finished in Feb/March 2009... or was it actually finished Dec 2008... Can't remember the exact timeframe.

Awakening and all other DLC for DA:O was handled by a seperate team.

I hope people realize developers are capable of multitasking. I'm sure they started work on DA2 during Origins production. Bioware has the resources to work on multiple projects!



I'm not worried. I've been a fan of Bioware since the beginning and have yet to be disappointed.

well you gotta remember it took them so long to make dragon age 1 because they had to make every item, every creature, all the lore, they had to make the maker and all the gods for the elves, the names for the paragons, all the lands, all the lands, the capitals, and such like that. Since its already all created all they really have to create is the look of the lands the history of what happened so far and some other things. That's really it.

lol i don't care how long it takes them to get it out. Yeah I kinda wish they would take a little more time to make it perfect but bioware knows they're RPG's.... not the dlc's lol. I'm sure the game will be good maybe as good DAO I don't know and we won't either until the game comes out. But until then all we can do is sit, wait, and cross our fingers. One thing is for sure though.... The trailer for DA2 Kicked ****!!!!!
