Their.

I also have nothing better to do. Guess I'll just sit here twiddling my thumbs and correcting minor grammar mistakes.

Did it again, to see if he would whine about it.

Confirmed passive aggressive attention seeking behaviour.  Despite this common reaction, people correct gramm3rz not to "whine" but to help someone learn the correct grammar.  Why?  Because everyone benefits if we all follow the same language rules.

It's easier to read things that are grammatically correct.

Tagging and elite speak was done intentionally to be harder to read, a code so to speak.  What has happened is code speak and normal speak have merged because of social media.  There is no more editorial process, most writing on the intrawebz is no longer edited for anything, grammar, content, typos... nada.

The result is what we have today, most blogzerz not only have terrible, unreadable writing styles.  But they don't care, and think it's silly that n31 careZ.

Tough to say how this will shake out on the futARZ

Sad but true. :/

ROFL @ double trolls.    A prediction on a game not yet released, "confirmed' by another troll statement.  Wow.  I fully understand being concerned about changes, but to declare these predictions "true" is absurdist trolling.

I think I'm going to save this and give it to anyone who complains about my complaining about their grammar and spelling.

Is it just me or do "is it just me or" threads irritate anyone else?

Yes, everyone who is not a narcissist is irritated by "Is it just me..." or "Bioware plz read..." or "I need to know..." or "Thoughts on..." threads.  It's so friggin attention whoring kiddie and annoying.  I guess that's just how it is for the Reality TV generation.

Yes, damn them and their pursuit of knowledge. How dare they ask questions.

Yoiur'reier missing da pointZ!  It's not about asking questions, it's about titling the thread in with any of those "troll cliches" above.

Indeed, everyone around here could be a lot nicer. You are correct sir.

Now back on topic, all software is rushed.  Anyone who has ever worked in a software development environment can confirm this.  It's all a matter of how the "rushing" is managed.

Probably because it's still wrong. ;)

Back on topic, who knows how long they've been working on it? They could have started basic design before DAO was even released. It's pretty clear that they were planning it when they were developing Awakening, since Nathaniel was in the Free marches in time to meet Hawke (as confirmed by the devs).

I'm going to wait and see how the game looks when its finished.

not true, people only correct grammar of people with contrary opinions.

Not necessarily. Bad spelling/grammar just annoy some people. That said, usually when someone is complaining about someone elses spelling, there's a good chance that they made a typo too. Should be an internet law like Godwins etc.

It's a fairly quick turn-over, but the studio has grown, I'm sure. It may not be a problem.

I have that worry at the back of my mind yup, but ultimately, DA is still fresh and new, Bioware have a rich and detailed world to work with, plus they don't seem to be afraid or not overly precious about it to try different things.

Blizzard is the maker of WoW, I'm aware of this. I figured most people with some sense would understand what I was saying. Silly of me to overestimate the people in these forums.

I'm really wondering who's the troll here. And Blizzard made much better stuff than WoW since they started. And they keep doing them! WoW sucks badly but that's just my opinion. I liked Lineage 2 a lot better! And what Blizzard does best, besides taking a real long time between sequels, is Super Fast Patching Fixing  their fraking games, released after extensive Beta Testing and even so, bugs happen.

What to say about games released with so little or none Beta Testing at all. (And Beta Testing means regular players, whom are likely to do all unpredicted, unexpected things that a staff tester is unlikely to)

Now, DA:O had a promise of two years DLC, etc. etc. Of course a sequel being released less than two years after Origins seems rushed. And for all EA record with DA:O, it will be likely filled with bugs that will take what... 9 months or more to be fixed or to be announced as not possible to fix?

I bet will see DA3 before Origins is fixed.

Very true, I think its been said that while da:o was in devolopement, da:2 was in developement.  Anyway this is bioware people, have a little faith, they know what their doing.

I think it might be coming out a little to soon. I mean the first one came out in, what November 09, right? And the second one is meant to come out March 11' that's a little over a year. ME came out three years after the first and most of the characters felt like they were lacking dialog trees. (eg calibrations, you don't want to **** me? you can't talk me) But if we get a good product I won't complain.

on the console version... it doesn't have major bugs that i can think of (except for the warden commander/sentinel armor bug in awakening). i'm sure everything will be fixed before da2 is released.

...idk about the pc version. people add their own mods and then wonder why the game is glitchy :?. just sayin

Of course they're rushing. This is EA we're talking about. They'll sink to Bethesda level to release a game ASAP no matter how unpolished and crappy, to milk original DA. Expect a console friendly game with 95% action, dumbed down characters customization and 30 hours max campaign.
